Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Literally yesterday they were complaining that Trump didn't take over everything to stop WuFlu
Literally a couple years ago they were bitching about Trump negotiating with Kim Jong Un and how he was somehow destroying America by talking to dictators. The day before they were all saying he was reckless and was going to get us into a nuclear war because he wouldn't sit down and negotiate

During one of the briefings Trump said that the President's "authority is total" (Which they wrenched out of context, as usual) and Pence told the "journalists" that under a state of national emergency, the President's powers are "plenary." I sincerely doubt that a single reporter in that room knows what plenary means, nor do they understand how all-encompassing Presidential powers become when the United States enters a state of National Emergency.

So basically he's stating (no action has been taken so far) that he will excercise presidential power on par with Civil War and the World Wars.
Also hilarious that months ago they were calling him incompetent for mainly letting the states deal with it, but now it's a problem because he said "total control".

Última edición:
They want the government to control everything when they are running it. They want their Constitutional freedoms when their enemies are running it.
But they also want the president to be judged by the standard of having total authority, and therefore total responsibility, when it's someone they don't like. On the contrary, when the president is someone they do like, they want him to have the power but no accountability.

Why are journalists that scream at Trump being deemed essential while restaurant waiters and bussers and bar tenders get laid off during the pandemic. Journalists have never contributed anything essential to society in the last few years.

We will never have another president like this one.

Seriously, what is up with all the worship of Obama by people on Twitter and the like as if he's some sort of amazing deity? Is it just because he was black and legalized gay marriage?

It’s not just twitter. Making a dumb meme about Obama and Trump will result in a bullet point essay on why it is wrong in the former t_d thread.

I've always wondered if Twitter manufacture what's trending.

You dont need twitter for that, just put several bots accounts to tweet the same keywords again and again and even with less than 1000 tweets you can make it trending, twitter dont count if the accounts are brand new or with 0 followers that is why selling bots is profitable, china has entire farms of slaves retweeting garbage to raise trendings

Because he was the last time that they had power and now they just have the memories of the days of Black Jesus that at this point are never going to come back

Yep, that's it. Obama was just another milquetoast by-the-numbers president once he got elected. He ran on a cringey-in-hindsight message of "hope and change," but after the election, he kept the status quo going just like it was meant to be. Nothing changed, many things got worse, and we were all supposed to accept the "new normal."

The people who idolize him now don't remember any of that. All they can think is "remember when we had a cool black guy for president?" They've lost all ability to look at the world with even a modicum of objectivity; if they hadn't, we wouldn't be at over 3000 pages in this thread months before the 2020 election.
