I'm officially over this whole quarantine bullshit

>the US has ~560k cases, 22k of those have resulted in death
>560k is .17% of our population of 328 fucking million
>22k is roughly 4% of 560k and .006% of the US population
>hospital admissions are already slowing because most people haven't gotten it and don't need to worry about getting it
>most of the cases are in New York City anyway, a dirty city packed to the ass with obnoxious people of all walks of life
>also survivability is great if you're not an unhealthy piece of shit
>people are getting fucked out of their jobs because a minority of a minority of people MIGHT die

Once again, "why contain it".

Don't you know, if you step out your door for something unnecessary, you will get it and die!!!!

Seriously, this isn't going to last any longer. I'll be very surprised if people aren't out again by June.

Fucking preach
I’m in my clinical year of my degree, and clinicals are canceled until further notice. “We need more healthcare workers, but we don’t want to expose the ones we’re training to what’s possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity because people are getting sick”. The fuck.
I’m sick of hanging out with my wife and infant all day. Neither of them quit bitching.
NGL, relationships need space. Getting too much into everyone's space all the time is quite a turn off.

The 24 hour Walmarts around now close at 8:30pm.
This is some bullshit.
My state only allows a certain number of people in a store, like 4 people per 1,000 square feet (something like that), which means if there's too many people in there, you're going to have to wait outside. Not to mention people around here are starting to get more hostile by the day, which is to be expected because people lost their jobs and are now panicking trying to figure out how to pay bills, food, etc. Add that to the Walmart here isn't allowed to sell any non-essential items and you got yourself a diaster waiting to happen.

I don't mind being lazy at home, but I do miss going out to do things. Sometimes. I can't wait for all the lockdown and quarantine enforcements to be lifted where I live.

Down here in Texas our shelves are stocked of everything, except TP, I get to walk my dog outside, no-body gives a shit about the virus and it's fucking glorious. I mean most places of business are closed and every retard in the store is wearing a sheet of fabric as if it will block anything but I can still go outside and as long as there's parking I'm not being fined.

Most people are getting sick of it because suprise suprise a certain party is using this time to curtail as many freedoms as possible. Key example in Michigan you can't be caught driving to a non essential location without being fined 10K and you can only buy food and items the state deems as necessary. Combine this with the fact that our leaders are touting this to be a yearly occurance humanity is just going to have to deal with and you realize the only way this stops is some politician being introduced to the lethality of a bolt action.

My country hasn't been hit by it too hard, especially compared to New York or Europe.

Where I live it literally feels the same as before the virus, but with a hole bunch of liberties and simple pleasures taken away. I mean its good that our death toll is very low, but I still hate the fact I got to put my life on hold for an unknown period of time.

Yeah, the late-night grocery stores in my area all started closing at 10 pm about a month ago when the panic buying started. Originally this was so that they could have more time to restock and clean up, but people aren't shopping like crazy anymore and they still have the reduced hours. I went shopping for Easter dinner ingredients Friday morning and the store I went to had us all standing out on the sidewalk six feet apart waiting to be let in one at a time as other customers exited. I think even the most collectivist among us will be fed up if this doesn't end at the end of the month as currently planned.

It makes sense if you think about it. By limiting their hours they create a bottleneck so that there are more people in the store at the same time, which reduces the spread of the virus.
The idea of this quarantine doesn’t make sense.

Everyone except those with medical conditions that predispose them to illness will have no problem with it; a shitty flu, at the very worst. They’ll recover. If we’re going for “herd immunity”, then quarantine the vulnerable and let the disease burn through the population otherwise. We’ll get there a lot faster.

Whats going to happen is we are either going to be quarantine forever or more likely it will be lifted here soon when cases start to drop rapidly. Then cases will start going back up, we'll quarantine again, cases will go down, will lift it again, and this will go on forever.

So either way you are going to kill yourself from quarantine fever or catch the virus and die.

But it can't get much worse?

My town has been collectively pretending that Corona-virus doesn't exist and so far it's working.
Same, but it's basically the entire country. A lot of shops and social gatherings have been closed/prohibited, but in general everything has been surprisingly lax. And God hasn't really punished us for our hubris, as the curve already seems to be flattening. It's basically been a national NEET summer vacation.

Thots and prayers to you Anglos and Latins out there.

And then some new strain will start up and this will go on forever.
