Late and gay but did anyone else notice the name theme for that one chick's morbidly obese fox character and her fam? They were all character names from Pokemon lol [Butch, Cassidy, Jess and Jamie]. Like I said, late and gay but it's just something I thought of as I caught up in the thread.

So I did some scouring just to find trouble and while I don't think there's anything that SJW-y about this stuff, the art itself IS mmm not really what I imagined.

Why does she look like a boyyyyyyy

Beastars Racebent Juno with stupid heterochromia.png

This one's simultaneously the worst and least frustrating because Juno's fur style does lend itself to be kinky so it COULD work as black but the heterochromia's stupid.

The mangaka did draw "official" human designs for Legosi and Haru though (it's thought that it's an April Fool's joke but it's still there so)

I'm just nitpicking with that stuff, though; they're all animals but for some reason, I don't picture someone like Haru, who's notable for being a pure white animal, to be black.

And here's some Castlevania stuff because I just didn't like the way it looked.

MAN FACES. The lady on the right does NOT look like a lady.

Castlevania Crap III.jpg

These lines are a special kind of blurry that gives me a headache.

Why didn't they make them a black albino? Missed opportunity for diversity points.

Don't be a bigot, that is obviously a black transwoman. Strangely enough I do not remember a single black character in castlevainia. I suppose medieval Europe was hiding all the black people because of racism against blacks and vampires.

Does the middle dude have some sort of adolescent stach? Wtf is going on here?

Also I hate those hearts.

the number one way to make a character look like a mary sue is to give them heterochromia. its so fucking rare in real life, but so oversaturated in character design. i feel like its such a copout for interesting character design, and lazy at best. instead of actually putting some kind of effort into making a character look unique, you give them two different eyecolors? groundbreaking.

unless the character has some kind of reasoning behind their heterochromia, like say, todoroki from bnha, it's just bad character design imo.

Maybe they're trying to do the polar opposite of the "loli that's actualy 37 years old" thing and not realizing that no one wants to fuck someone who looks 50 when they're in their 20s?

To be fair, Striga looks pretty manly in the series anyway. I thought she was a man in her first scene before she spoke.
