Sonichu [Fan Comic] Rosechu's Story - A reimagining of the Sonichu story from Rosechu's perspective.

Oh, snippity-snap! Last page was amazing as always, but I needed a few seconds to realize that Chris's wearing a sleek-ass belp pouch on the fifth panel. At first I though he just had a massive gunt... cannot unsee... :'(

It really amazing that a comic that is supposed to be a parody of a non-intended parody has better art, plot and development than many other fancomics of sonic or pokemon that try to be serious business.

The panel with Chris trying to sound badass gave me a lot of feels, because if you ignore the awful truth of how Chris really is, you can find, like Soul Craving Dead Dog said, a 18-year-old-awkward boy with language issues, maybe is a weird comparison but it reminded me a little bit to Deckard from Bee and Puppycat, not just for the heterochromia iridum, but because he stutter when gets nervous... and that's... adorable...

This comic keeps getting taken off my forum alerts for some reason, damn it.

Anyway, nice Salamence Chris has there. Wonder where he got it...

Well, considering that he named it Bagoner, I'm guessing he caught it himself when it was a Bagon in Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire and raised it himself.

Also, I've seen one or two people complaining about the forum alerts. Maybe someone should alert Null to it?

Good luck with the move, @Trickie. Once you get settled we should start up a Rosechu's Story convention. I'll be there in full CWC cosplay. (pre-tomgirl saga)

I doubt I'd have enough people for a convention, even if I were able to handle it. I've wanted to go to a con for a while, now, but crowds are a bit difficult for me. I might try going to PAX prime, though, since I'll be closer.

If you're still taking cameo requests, can you add stick Red and Bird Jesus here in there. Obviously the neurotic mess version that's still plagued by The Voices.

JSYK, you don't have to draw me spinning.

(if i get in on the cameo, just put in Lapis Lazuli from SU ok sorry bye)

Might not be another cameo thing for a little while, since I don't know when I'll have another good close up shot at the audience. Most of the focus is going to be on the center of the field from here on out, but if I see opportunities, I'll take them.

Trickie you're good people

Aww thank you :) It's so nice when someone recognizes our multiple personality disorder.

Yeah, it's a bit hard to see because of the darker color, but it's supposed to be a fanny pack. You've got to keep your items and pokeballs somewhere, I guess.

18-year-old-awkward-Chris is actually pretty cute.
I'm not sure of how I'm supposed to feel about that...

Mixed feelings is definitely an appropriate reaction, I think, especially for the stuff that's going to happen later.

Thank you very much! :) Actually, I haven't seen a lot of Sonic or Pokemon fancomics. I've seen plenty of really good fanart, but not comics so much (at least not the ones that are trying to be serious business).

I actually have this problem sometimes as well. My mouth and my mind don't function at the same speeds sometimes, so I tend to stumble over my words when I'm flustered. It's not my favorite trait, but it has made for some rather funny moments.

Crap, hang on, I missed a couple comments...

I've been watching this comic for a while now. But I haven't quite gotten around to actually saying anything about it due to other things.

So, I'll start by saying this: this is one of the most enjoyable comics I've read in quite some time. It's an interesting approach to the Sonichu story - and taking what was originally nothing more than a bland and somewhat terrifying character and changing her into someone I actually like. I especially love the conflict between Kel and Rosechu, as well as how you don't make Chris an outright villain from the start. I'd also like to say that you have an incredibly cute art style - you're one of the few people in this world who've actually made me go "Awww" at Chris's design and expressions. That's a real accomplishment, if I may say so myself!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like things so far. I just hope I can keep the charm together when things get more complicated down the road. I've been planning some of the later plotlines, and it's a little daunting thinking about all the new characters I'll be juggling.

I definitely look forward to seeing what comes of this. You have pleased the Queen of the Dusclops! ;D

I am honored to have pleased you, your highness. :)

First of all, awesome page. I dunno if it was intentional, but kudos for making Chris' Pokeball throw seem just as weak and pathetic as I'm sure it would be in reality. It's the small touches, really.

I'm glad you caught that, actually, I wasn't sure how to depict a throw like that.

Second, best of luck with the move. If you decide to make a (seriously huge) detour through my neck of the woods, let me know. I know all the best gas station restaurants. Also:

I'm going to be flying, actually (I've had my fill of cross-country road trips), but I appreciate the offer! :D

Probably until you ask me to do some guest pages for you while you're making millions of monies.

Guest pages sound like fun, but I seriously doubt I'd be able to monetize the comic to any significant degree. Even if it did, I'd probably either donate a lot of it to charity or use it to pay someone to help so that I can put pages out faster or something.

The measure of a true artist, right there. And a good entrepreneur.

I've seen a ton of Pokemon ones, and I'm sure there are Sonic ones, all of them hiding on Smackjeeves. It's over-saturated over there.

I'm only a little late this time, so I'm not going to count it. :P

I think this'll be the first time we've had outright swearing in the comic! Scandalous! :O

I don't know if it has that much to do all that, but thank you. :)

I might have to look some up later, they sound like they might be hilarious.

Nice, as always!
Is he keeping Jamsta hidden because the mayor's out to "catch 'em all?"

Little Baby Jamsta is already one of my favorite characters. Hope to see more of him in the future!

Oh yeah, and the rest of the page is awesome too.

Is it bad that my comic swear so much that I actually had to look three times to actually see where you were swearing? Oh my, my old Sunday School teacher would be disappoint.

Goddammit Trickie you've upped the cute again. I think I'm going to have to do something really nasty like farting in a nun's face or re-releasing Kill Uncle so I don't get diabetes from this sweetness!

It's more that he's hiding him because he's not allowed to have pets/guests in the control room. It's kind of one of those secret pet things, as I'm guessing his keeper is in an apartment where pets aren't allowed.

Anyway, Solid in the original comic didn't make a point about wanting to catch all the pokemon in Cwcville, so I don't think it'd make sense here either.

Jamsta is likely under wraps so @Trickie doesn't have to write his horrible dialog.

Funnily enough, I actually really like writing kids' dialog. It can be really fun if you know what you're doing, and don't just give them a speech impediment and have them shout "YAY" every now and then.

Little Baby Jamsta is already one of my favorite characters. Hope to see more of him in the future!

I don't have a lot of stuff lined up for him, but I do like him already too. I'll have him pop in again if I see the opportunity.

Welcome to the club. I know for sure mine would be disappointed.

Yeah, the cuteness just couldn't stay away for long, could it? Try not to do anything too awful, they might blame me for it.

Love the Jamsta. Can you believe some sadistic ass had Jamsta put in critical condition in his comic? Called him a "D-list character that no one cared about" and everything, too!

If I'm guessing correctly, it seems you're pairing up all the rosechus and sonichus with trainers? Makes a lot of sense they start that way.

I fear for the day that Chris' necromancy raises Patti-chan from the dead in your comic. Although she'll stil be the most adorable dog-zombie in the comic.

Yeah, that guy sounds like a real ass.... wait... HEY!

Okay buddy, that's the last straw. No more funny hats for you!

Many thanks for including my rather sinister form among the crowd.

And Jamsta Sonichu. Didn't see that one comin'! Awesome. I hope we get a Lolisa appearance soon, too.

Incidentally, who is "Kidmann"? Is that an original character*?

*DO NOT STEAL
Kidman, alias Kid Flash, hails from Allentown, PA and made his televsion debut on the WCW back in 1994. He was known as a more technical wrestler, and as a member of Raven's flock, was a constant rival for wrestlers like Hulk Hogan and Rey Mysterio. In 2001, he won the Cruiserweight Championship, shortly before the WWF (now the WWE) bought out WCW. Kidman continued to wrestle. During this time, Kidman reclaimed the Cruiserweight title seven times, and also won the WWE Tag Team Championship against the Dudley Boys in 2004. The success was short lived however, since about a month afterward, his signature move, the Shooting Star Press gave his opponent Chavo Guerrero a concussion. Kidman was then released from his wrestling contract in 2005.

While exploring the world, Kidman was apparently abducted by the Mayor and forced to become a radio DJ. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Not even this one?

I'm predicting it right now, Chris will have Bionic in his team. After all, he had to test those S-Chu balls on something, right?
What's sad is that Trickie and _blank_ have had me running to the CWCki a lot. Bionic is the eldest of them, and he was full hedgehog and not a sonichu. But, with most everything Chris has written, there's been a lot of retroactive continuity in characters. Still, wouldn't be surprised if you're right.
