Sonichu [Fan Comic] Rosechu's Story - A reimagining of the Sonichu story from Rosechu's perspective.

I read the comics in the very recent past, and I know it's likely been mentioned again and again. It is Chris' lazy writing, after all. But the timescale of all of this is purely wonky, though I think you [Trickie] addressed this with Liquid Chris' phone conversation.

1. So, Sonichu is just created, yet he's 18? Right about now?
2. As you've already started pointing out, how fast it was for Chris to take control of Sonichu, create Sonichu balls, and break Sonichu to the point of calling him "father".
3. How amazingly quick it was for Team Rocket and Robotnik to come together to suddenly want to clone Sonichu. Like, "oh hey, that's neat. Naitsirhc, get in here! He's your archnemesis now. Go get him for me." "Uh, dad? I have a fucking Zapdos. Like, THE Zapdos. Only one. Oh, and my Raikou? Also only one. I almost got killed collecting them. And you want me to fucking capture... what is that?" "He's owned by that doughy kid on screen." "Oh, well, for some reason, I'm compelled to hate that guy. Sure."
 
Oooh that page was awesome, I didn't even notice the crowd cameos until people pointed them out. Nice an' subtle! Also oh my god Chris, he looks so.. . young and innocent, almost

I don't know about the next page, but I'll keep it in mind. I might need to humanize you a bit more if I do, though.

Well, it's a bit weird using human years, just because these are smaller creatures, and they tend to mature faster and have shorter lifespans. The only reason Chris used human years was because of the whole porn thing. We know that he was probably an adult or young adult pikachu when he transformed, and it's only been maybe a month since then in the comic currently, so I'm pretty sure he's of age by now. Besides, even if I really cared to find out how old he is in human years, it doesn't really tell me how old he is in sonichu years.

As far as Nait goes, the Zapdos and Raikou he has may actually be clones (they do have the power to clone pokemon after all).

Since you brought up the porn thing, I'm hoping that you don't adapt Chris's weird furry porn...it served no purpose in the actual story except to assert that Rosechu was a woman, Sonichu was straight, and aparrently that Chris was also straight but we all know how that works. Didn't you mention something about a possibility of a certain lioness appearing later on? And what region was Rosechu born in if her parents are a Luxray and a Raichu?

I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread (and I should probably update the FAQ with stuff like this) but I don't plan on doing anything explicitly sexual with this comic. I imagine it'll get suggestive once or twice, but I'll be doing what I can to keep it tasteful.

As far as what region Rosechu was born in, that's actually a tough call. The funny thing is, you actually can't find luxrays in the wild, you can only evolve them from shinxes or luxios, and they're only found in the Sinnoh region (and also in like, one place in Unova) and none of these immediate areas have pichus, pikachus, or raichus. It's assumed that Kel is from Pallet town, though, so unless someone went through the trouble to go overseas just to grab a pichu, she was probably either born in Kanto or Johto. Honestly, she could have been caught in any region, as I believe it's possible for pokemon to sometimes migrate to different areas at least sometimes, and especially true for Luxrays since they don't seem to be found anywhere. It's possible that he was someone's pokemon once, but he was released into the wild? You could probably speculate this into the ground, but I don't know that the details are incredibly relevant to the story.

And yes, I believe I did say that the "Incredible Lioness" thing was going to be part of the story.

Now that I think about it, Chris didn't actually establish that he "caught" Sonichu in the source material, yet Sonichu refers to him as "father".
 
Okay, that's weird...my alerts weren't informing me that there were any new posts in this thread at all. I had to check this out as the latest thread only to realize "wait, are there new posts here?" and dang, it looks like I missed two comics! I sadly had no idea it even updated. (Well, I didn't respond to three of them technically, but I couldn't think of anything to say that hasn't already been said once they arrived at the gym.)

I unwatched the thread and then rewatched it, hopefully that'll fix things, unless the forum's just being glitchy, I dunno.

Man, I actually remember that Champ in the Making guy from the games! I never actually imagined him as an old man though, I remember thinking he was around the same age the main character was, that makes him kinda creepy in retrospect...I love Kel's interaction with him though (or rather her uninterested lack of an interaction with him.)

Dannnnggggg, poor Rosechu...and freaking Chris Chan trying to take credit for everything, ahahah!

I gotta admit, you draw the Pokemon outfits really well. Kel and Chris actually look like they could be from the games in this style! Also I can't believe how charming you made Chris look and even act. I said this in Pikonic's Sunstone fanfic as well; as fun as the over-the-top parodies of Chris are, it's actually pretty refreshing seeing him being portrayed more normally, if only a little quirky and bumbling. I assume that's gonna change though, given what happens to not only him, but in the comic later on...should be either interesting, funny, sad or frightening to see, I'm frankly not sure which...

Thank God and the bear I'm all caught up now. Oh yeah and before I forget, the cameos were neat to see! Even if I didn't really notice them until they were pointed out.

EDIT: Also, I love Rosechu's expression in the last panel, that just makes this.

Welp, since people are getting cameos in fan comics, I guess I'll finally break down and give myself an avatar. I couldn't find anything on my hard drive that's especially wacky, so I'll make do with this lovely pic of Grimly Feendish, the subject of a song by the Damned about 30 years' back...

Come to think of it--assuming anybody has ever heard of the character--he was sort of the original Pokemon master, in a way...
