Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

However, Gore did win the popular vote nationwide by 547,398 total. He was the first person to win the popular but lose the Electoral College since Grover Cleveland in 1888. The Democrats got salty about it, but they didn't fully lose their minds until Bush won re-election in 2004 by 3 million votes. And he won FL by a solid 5% in 2004, just to rub it in their face. (More fun trivia here.)

Kinda why I want Trump to not just win 2020, but win in a popular landslide over a token "D" candidate, and watching all those states trying to rig the EC have to hypocritically walk back all that brave talk about how the "will of the people" is more important than the EC and quickly come up with reasons so they don't have to do what they pledged after all..... because it's not okay when it happens to US!

I mean they're heading that way. I'm seeing a lot of apathy about the vote from some of my Democrat friends, people that can't even mention that apathy without throwing in some bitching about Trump, but it's entirely likely that they've managed to field such a bad stable this year that the amount of stayhomes from the saner Democrat voter base will be so large that Trump will get a very clear popular vote win. I think it'll get even worse if they go ahead with their "Hillary switcharoo"... I know diehard liberals that despise her, they throw her out there again along with the blatantly corrupt bullshit they'd be pulling to do it and it's going to chase off a ton of people. They're not going to suddenly flip to vote for Republicans, but they will stay home or just not vote for President. Add to that, most of the voting blocks they've been trying so desperately to appeal to (the youth vote, the minority vote) are the ones that are the most naturally apathetic anyway and, well.

Probably a tad on the optimistic side, but only a tad. Every Democrat voter that was sincerely pleading for sanity in what they saw as the lack of it with Trump's election are definitely not being shown it by their own party.

At this point we should just dissolve the Democratic party and have one of the third parties take its place.

Trump may be in trouble, as it looks as though Bernie just picked up a crucial endorsement from the agricultural sector...

The most energized of the apathetic youth bloc are all going to vote for Bernie anyway, and if they pull the rug out from under him again, what makes them think the result will be different for 2020?

They didn't throw in when you stabbed their guy in 2016, without even bothering to pander to them about that, just assumed they'd directly transfer that youthful passion for free shit to the next man woman Lizard Queen up... and yet they seem to think simply saying "But you REALLY REALLY REALLY hate Drumpf, right?" will do it this time around if it plays out the same at the convention and the Blue Dogs demand the socialist's scalp again.

Do you think they'll commit mass suicide on November 4 or will we be graved with 4 more years of digital anal leakage?
I have a feeling 2020 is gonna be even saltier just due to the fact Trump will probably be the first president impeached and then re-elected. Not only will there be complaints about how he shouldn't be on the ballot, but there'll also be a lotta shouts of "fuck Americans" flying out into the sky. Probably way more than that even.

I also can't wait for Part 2 of the Young Turds' reactions to election results.

I'm mostly looking forward to Rachel Maddow crying again. Such journalism! Such sad!

He's really taken a step down from all those solemn proclamations back in the day. Guess Metatron was the actual wordsmith there.
He still has some in his church.

"Why won't you act like a normal person, Blonald Blumpf! Now let me shill a coloring book for adults, 'Fuck Trump, by a Nasty Woman'. That is totally a thing a normal person would promote and own, and is not in any way ridiculous!"

Not sure if it'll compensate for all the illegals they gave driver's licences to in blue states, who have quite a strong motivation to cast the ballot if some Dem outreach program is smart enough to tell them that their vote will count now due to the popular vote compact.
