Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

That remains one of the most fascinating things to me about Trump's presidency. We've all seen how the office ages a man, even a single term having a pretty dramatic effect. Obama started going gray after just a couple years in office.

Meanwhile, Trump pretty much looks the same today as he did at his inauguration. He really seems to enjoy the job, going out and fighting with the Dems every day, shitposting on the world stage, and getting shit done.

I cropped this from a Reddit meme because it was a decent illustration of how previous presidents have aged (the "punchline" was the American public going from normal to skeletons after four years of Trump, haw haw upvoted):

I saw another one where a hypothetical President Bernie turned into a skeleton, which made me chuckle.

Point is, I don't see any of the Dem frontrunners having near as much vitality. The candidate that seems the strongest is usually the one that wins, and none of them holds a candle to Trump in that regard. Remember how many rallies a day he was running towards the end of his campaign? I can see him doing as many this time around, if not more.
I don't really think it's because "he enjoys the job," so much as it is he enjoys having tards flip shit over everything he says. Take this Tweet for instance. It likely took him all of one minute to think it up, but he and everyone else got hours of lolcow material from it.

Posts like these really make me wish that it were a requirement to pass a basic civics test in order to vote. The number of people who have no idea how our government works or why it was set up like it was is depressing.

Lol Calm dow, Julie.
What the fuck is so great about Tim Hortons doughnuts or Tim Hortons in general for that matter? Canukistanis plz explain.
Years ago, Tim Horton's used aggressively Canadioan identity marketing "I AM CANADIAN" hockey commercials and suchlike. Everyone bought into the idea that Tim Horton's is a quintessential Canadian brand and experience, and they beat out others in the market because of it. Then Burger King bought Tim Horton's (and people spazzed out about it), now no-one cares, and getting Tim Horton's is just a subconscious habit.

tl;dr, it's all because of shitty commercials.

[Butthead]Uh................... words........................[/Butthead]

And yes, the chamber where every state gets 2 votes, not the one where you get proportional votes would, of course, be seen as not representing California Elites The People, wouldn't it?

On Presidential Aging - It's the stress that does it, but not just the stress of the office, the stress of knowing you did shady shit that might bubble up tomorrow and wreck you, that really puts the lines on your face. Trump is unique in that he doesn't fear that happening, 90% because he DOESN'T have shady shit following him as an outsider, and the other 10% because he's bombastic enough to turn even bad publicity into good, so even if that phantom piss tape popped up tomorrow, he'd laugh and shitpost about it and it'd have no effect.

That's why Trump isn't aging, after a lifetime of being on TV and in a cutthroat business market, none of the duties or curses of the office come as a shock to him or worry him.

If anything, he's on a VACATION with taxpayer-funded security to keep the hecklers away.
