I like how everyone is freaking out about how Osana is about to be released like the game is now complete or something. Even Alex is trying to act like this is a big deal. Bitch please, once she's out that means that he has successfully made one seventh of the game barely playable after six years. No wonder he is holding out on releasing her, cause he has nothing else to keep people going other than the carrot on a stick that is Osana.

I mean really, is he gonna release a build with her fully implemented and then say 'ok guys, enjoy Osana. Look forward to rival two in like three years!' No way he isn't that dumb, so he's gonna hold out on this bitch for a long as he possibly can. Because aside from her he has absolutely nothing to show for himself in terms of progress.

I don't understand one thing - why Alex don't use some name generators (like "Behind the name" or something) for his characters? It's would be a way better that "Mai Waifu" or "Fureddo Jonzu" that we have now...

He used them for the rainbow girls. But then he started using google translate. I think he just makes stuff up to make it sound Japanese now. Idk why he decided to stop using Japanese name sites :/
 
Osana is done?! Oh boy! Cant wait for that kickstarter that 5 years too late! He's gonna have absurd goal and when it's not met, that show is over. He wasted his life being a dumbass.

And he did it wrong. He took a list of most popular Japanese female names and applied them to his first five characters. But instead of googling "most common surnames in japan" he just took 2 first names and made the into a full name. "Yui Rio" and "Yuna Hina" sound like weird full names in Japan. "Yui Takashi", "Rio Nakamura" etc (popular first names + common surnames) would sound natural.

Ignoring joke engrish names like "Mai Waifu" , when he actually tried to give them "real japanese names" with "meaning" he fucked up even further. For example the Saikou family - Saikou is a common adjective in japanese, it means "the best". Grandpa Saikou is called "Saisho", and saisho is a another common adjective with means "The first". So his full name is "The first the best". Wow, that's so witty Alex, doesn't sound fucking stupid at all.

Sorry for the weeaboo sperg, but seeing Alex has been a weeb otaku his whole life, it baffles me how he couldn't think of better names than "Saikou Saisho" and "Raibaru Fumetsu". I guess it'd be fine if it was just a meme game making fun of anime tropes, but he actually wants it to be seen as serious.


While writing this post, I checked out Saikou family wiki page, and he has lore written for all of them. Look at this shit, he hasn't managed to finish a tutorial part of his game in 6 years, but "Megami's Aunt" already has lore.

Just shows he favors the Saikous more than the supposed main couple! Bet none of the other rivals will have such thorough detail that isn't even useful in the actual game.
 
It's not shocking; it's easier to just shit out a small essay worth of word vomit and rake in childrens' money than it is to program a game that doesn't explode into polygons.
