Like, probably not in an ordinary social circle that happens to have some gay people in it, but exclusively gay social circles, like GSA groups and things like that. I'm sure the troons take over pretty quickly and then rule the roost. If you're lesbian in that situation, I'm guessing it's either humor the girldick or be ostracized from every other potential dating partner.
This is exactly what happened at my university. A friend of mine was in the GSA for ~2.5 out of his 4 years there. The first year, it was mostly for socializing/hanging out. Whole meetings could go by without anything explicitly LGB coming up. The next fall, a "non binary" troon transferred in from the local CC, asserted herself as club president because it had been a bullshit position up until then, and turned it into an unfun clusterfuck of "privilege checking" and "muh pronouns" with extremely liberal politics to boot. President Troon also did a fantastic job of generally shaming and dividing everyone who thought she was being ridiculous, and everybody else who wanted to be part of the "in" clique fell in line.
The rest of this story is going to sound pretty damn familiar to anyone who's seen an online community taken over by loonies-simple fun wasn't allowed anymore, there had to be "critical analysis" of anything they watched on Movie Night and trips to the gay bar or whatever were replaced with weekend long trips to Gender Studies conferences. This was about the time my friend peaced out along with maybe 1/3 of the rest of the GSA, and even the weird, puritanical group that stayed behind was still hateful and miserable.
I don't know where I was really going with this story, suffice it to say that troons are great at taking advantage of your apathy & using it to insert themselves into an existing group, and they will never let go once they do.
