This has been brought up here repeatedly but it still boils down to, they can claim to be whatever they want but that doesn't make it true- for both their gender and their sexuality -and normal people can nod their head to politically correctly agree with them to humor them but they aren't opening their hearts or legs to troons. Bodily autonomy and personal rights of sharing your home/heart/sexual experiences with another person that you choose is a hurdle they literally cannot cross. No matter how many articles they write they're limited to a select handful of SJW snowflake types who'd date them for the progressive points, some truly broken or desperate people, and their own troon brand.
The more articles they write, the more they ree about their dating rhetoric the more people go 'That sounds awfully rape-y' and their already small pool dwindles more. Self-defeating.
I really wish that were all they could do (write articles and fail at life). Unfortunately, it's not. I personally have known
several lesbians (and heard of / read about many more) who were bullied and coerced into relationships and sex with troons that they did not want, and every single one of them has lost their ability to participate in their irl LGBT community for speaking out about being raped by their trans partners' penises. Especially for young lesbians who are just coming out, who are surrounded by troons and troon "allies" in their schools and colleges, etc., it can be
really difficult not to bow to the constant peer pressure to let these men rape you. And it is
constant.
I've mentioned it before here I think, but the thing that sticks in my head the most about this was a young lesbian who talked about joining her high school GSA. She was taken into a room by three "cis" girls (none lesbians) and sat down and interrogated about whether she would sexually interact with a penis. This was a
high school girl, newly out, seeking community, and instead what she got was the third degree from three bi girls about whether she would allow a man in drag to rape her. When she told them no, she would not have sex with a troon, or anyone with a penis at all, she was told she wasn't welcome in the GSA because she was a terf and a transphobe. And maybe that particular story wasn't true, or was exaggerated, but I've heard similar stories of young lesbians being bullied, coerced, interrogated, etc. in LGBT communities in the US, Canada and the UK to try to force them into having sex with trans-identified men, and it's absolutely sickening.
And I was going to say that sure, nobody is forcing straight people to have sex with troons... but then I remembered the high number of troons who seek out drunk men and commit rape by deception by trying to get them to fuck them without telling them that they're trans (and then act surprised when their victim often becomes violent!). But that's less of a social movement and more of a predictable pattern of predatory behavior.
But if you mean as far as like, the law goes... I dunno. Obviously no one is going to pass a law saying that lesbians have to have sex with trans-identified men, but I don't even know if it's too far to say that no one would ever mandate that these men are provided with sex. In the Netherlands, the government provides prostituted women to disabled men because they view sex as an absolute right that all men have, so... it's not that far off. (Which is, by the way, incredibly horrifying. Jesus.)
