You know, i thought the US legal system had primary focus on fairness and precedents but the more im following US case laws and the more it seems like Judge can do whatever the fuck they want because they went to lawschool and happened to run in a riding unnoposed with the right political leaning. They can go from giving pedophile and rapist slaps on the wirst and straight up ignoring rules of laws so what fucking hope do more complex caselaw involving freedom of speech and defamation have? And i expect the court of appeal to be chupp x3. Just flip a fucking coin 3 time.

Chupp is the King of Not Giving a Fuck.
Who knows, maybe he signed a deal with Dallas News to get some publicity for his next career move? This faggot can't even figure out to how properly analyze a TCPA, imagine his lizard brain on an appeals court staff. Maybe he thinks the case will drag out long enough for him to make a position swap so he doesn't have to deal with the autism of Weeb Wars. He is clearly showing signs that he isn't qualified, maybe daddy's network got him to where he is without public insight. Let's all remember that he'd rather end a hearing early to go throw footballs and relive his high school QB days because he doesn't have a son.
He sounds more and more like a failed Al Bundy who constantly talks about his Polk High football days. At least he isn't a used shoe salesman, that title would be more fitting to Chair Abuser, but even Al Bundy knows when to tell his wife Peggy or D'arcy when to stfu. I expect nothing but the worst case scenario from this potential cow. Maybe he'll get his own thread one day to expose how fucking lazy and uninformed he is.

More like trial court judges have a lot of leeway because every case is unique, then the higher courts keep guard and correct them. The higher courts are huge on precedents, "fairness" mostly comes up when things are demonstrably biased. And then SCOTUS manages the cases where multiple lower courts reach different conclusions on some issue and they need to resolve the conflicting interpretations. (Or the cases where everyone just screwed up.)
If it sounds like a shitty setup, realize that these features are actually fixing problems in even worse systems from legal history.

Was Chupp actually a high school football player? He does kinda look like an aging chad after all. Even if he wasn't I'd still be interested in what can be dug up on John P. Chupp's past. Maybe he's in some old-ass local newspapers a few times.

It's amazing how well you can get by and how successful you can be in life by putting in minimal effort provided you know the right people. You wanna be Chupp, here's how you do it:
1. Go to law school and pass with the lowest grades because you're bros with the professors. Make sure to spend lots of time hanging with others there especially anyone with political connections
2. Find a law firm and chase ambulances. Hang out with your bosses a lot and even though you're putting in the minimum work you'll make partner soon enough
3. Use all the money from ambulance chasing to make campaign donations to the county/state Republicans/Democrats.
4. One of your buddies from law school is now some high ranking civil servant/political operative and the governor of your state is looking to appoint some judges! Ask him to tell the governor about you!
5. Take your robe and gavel with pride since life just got a lot easier. Pretend like you're listening to whoever shows up and do whatever you feel like.
6. Run in any election for judges unopposed because you're in a deep red/blue district/state and nobody cares about those elections anyway. Get your court of appeals/higher court seat and make even more money while still doing fuckall.
