Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

So it seems Martinez is bringing up the GFM and how the defendants are obsessed over it. I thought their plan was to have it be shut down, so when did it change to having the money seized by them?
Also, not sure if Martinez is Ty/Vic finally going scorched earth since I think someone said Ty brought in guys who know these aspects, but I find it funny Martinez used an avenue that was brought up here. You think he knows about the farms?

If anything, Ty has relayed information.

But I think Martinez is sharp enough on his own to figure a lot of shit out.

If he's lurking though, I hope he knows we're all rooting for him.

When they won, it became about using the sanctions and attorneys fees to seize the GFM.

Lemoine made a big fucking oopsie when he quoted his fees as a literal copy and pasted amount of the GFM at the time he declared his fees.

It was made apparent that he had chosen the "attorney's fees" value and the billing would be revised and edited to match it.

The only (non-punctuation) thing I dislike about Martinez's filing is that it's missing the Lemoine tweets where he did that. His arguing is on-point, and cites specific details to drive the points home, including Lemoine saying that... but only in text.

Maybe there's exhibits included but not in the PDF, or maybe he'll present it at the hearing, but as Ty found out with Marchi they really need to make sure Twitter artefacts are properly included in filings for this lawsuit.

There's a couple things that could be included:
  • The twitter comment about the billing dollar amount
  • A screenshot of the GFM main page during the same time period
  • Lemoine's comment that Vic's filings weren't frivolous during the deposition hearing on the 8th
EDIT: I don't understand why all these lawyers insist on posting to Twitter about cases. Ty and Lemoine are both guilty of playing games on the platform, and it's only ever caused trouble.

I'm just chuckling because I just remembered Lemoine fucking tweeted a screenshot of me saying "You don't get to do discovery right now" And he said "Watch me."

And Chupp shut him down.

Holy shit I hope that burns Lemoine, some random dumbfuck on a forum obsessing over autistic people is better at reading the law than you.

You have to excuse the Lemon Fuhrer, a mosquito liquefied his brain.

IIRC the main players found in Canada were the ANN t.ards. Allison Cooke was a Hawaii(?) resident living in Japan. @ManateeHunter managed to Dox her then Japan address via alley cats. This info can be found in the Doxemon thread.
Yes and in her thread it says shes back from Japan and living in Canada i believe.

Per se defamation mean damages are assumed, but if you want to get any money out of a lawsuit you need to have an account of actual monetary damages, yes Vic could sue Marzgirl and all the other nobodies that called him a criminal just to cost them money and make them suffer but for what we can see of him he is not that kind of person.

That is why those targets are probably not likely to be sued, same thing with T Greg, since he doesn't have any money suing him would be meaningless, in a cost/benefit analysis it's just not worth it.

Same with Hanlei you would need to prove someone out there who matters considered Hanleis opinion worthwhile and that Vic got damaged as a result. It's like Vic said in his deposition brain dead idiots have always talked shit about him, and it didn't matter, the reason why the Defendants are being sued is because
1. They have money, Funimation having the greatest amount.
2. They have actively interfered with Vic getting work.
3. Marchi and Rial are friends, being separate parties in a lawsuit is hell for any relationship, that is probably why Rial and Toye have been working as a singular party. If appeals court decides this passes at trial for all defendants Marchi and Rial will get into a prisoners dilemma, where they would have to trust each other, and Marchi already proved she is more pragmatic when it comes to many than Monica.

Expecting Anyone to be sue just got telling bad things about Vic is Hopeful at best, they would need to have been complicit in the conspiracy part or something like that for being halfway decent litigation targets.
To be fair we have Marzgurl to thank for pointing out that Nyahko was full of shit and talking about Monicas pedo ex boyfriend. Shes essentially a nail in the coffin for Funimation when it comes to malice.

They also cant use any of those people as an excuse because they knew.

Hearing was scheduled for 10:30AM, and should run for 2 hours. Which means it should've ended at 12:30, but Griftsby tweeted that there was a break and they'd reconvene at 1PM local.

Oooh shit they went over.

The fact that Sharon said very little when she did tweet makes me wonder just what's going on in that courtroom.

I do at least believe that the hearing has been boring. If Ty so much as frowned she'd be tweeting about the enraged plaintiffs.

She's still a dumb bitch. Please quote me on that Griftsby
