If you think Phil is legitimately re.tarded, you might have to take a look in the mirror. He's clearly of around average intelligence but extremely NPD so he believes he knows words that he doesn't. If you think he's re.tarded, you haven't been around enough people.
People think he's dumb in the same way that they think that gypsies/pikeys are dumb. They might be exceptional, but they sure as hell know how to swindle money out of others.

You only need to learn one way to swindle money out of people and perfect the scheme meanwhile if you want to protect yourself against being swindled you need to defend yourself from all types of schemes.

Phil's way is a good example. He has a wide net out there and seems to catch the ones that are young, ignorant, or slow(or a combination of all three).

Can't say you are smart for out-smarting people that are practically children.

This couldn't be more relevant after the $20 drama in the last stream

He watches playthroughs before playing games, or at least lumps of them before streaming. It was really really obvious with that duck game for instance, but he acted like he didn't know.

Even the frog fight on the star wars game showed that he knew it could be beaten, most people would not of tried to fight that on a stream when the monster did so much damage unless they know it can be beaten with some practice as he did.

It's understandable because messing around or 2 hours not knowing what do to would kill the stream but still, he doesn't do blind playthroughs.
i took the time to watch that frog fight, and im honestly not convinced he watched a video on it, at least not one that included its death because if he had it definitely would not have taken him nearly an hour. I also attempted to do this fight on jedi knight, without parrying because i assumed it was like souls and large beasts were on the no parry list and it only took me like 5 minutes

I'm sorry but the only people Phil swindles money out of are low-IQ and literally handicapped people. If he were good at swindling money like a gypsie/pikey he'd be bigger and have a larger following of actual people not just wheelchair symbols and people who are trying to stick it to the trolls.

Don't get me wrong, he's got a grift going, but it's a shit one that 99/100 people don't fall for, I mean the grift is just "I play games and talk shit come watch me". Not sure why people are trying to talk up Phil suddenly in this thread like he's big brained with a huge vocabulary and not at all mentally challenged but cut that shit out before it becomes the next "pEoPle sAy I cAn'T bE cAnCeLeD!" meme that Phil loves. Maybe try watching a TIHYDP and remind yourself that this guy can't even play fucking children's video games properly.

Edit because this rant is less about the original post now: Phil didn't achieve any success in any part of his life, he just walked backwards in to the cash cow that was early youtube and his mass uploads and putting himself in the wrong category got him views. This didn't last long because, get this, he's a fucking idiot. Every bit of cash he had he spent like crazy and all his fame he squandered on shit like the Project 7 scam (which led to the copyright strikes that destroyed his youtube channel) which wasn't even a good scam. I could go on for hours with examples of how this man is just an idiot, and frankly the nearly 5000 page KiwiFarms thread talking about his fuck ups shows that I'm not the only one.

My favorite quote from yesterdays Pokemon stream is easily "What's strong against Air Pokemahn? Water, right?"
waits for chat to correct him
waits for chat to correct him
waits for chat to correct him

"NOooO? Rock and Thunder?!" *Leans back and eyes chat*
"Rock Thunder and Ice huh?"
I don't buy that shit that Phil's IQ is supposed to be average. He's got some sort of learning disability at the very least, and if anything - he's suffering from his selective memory.

All of his playthroughs essentially became "Twitch Plays X", and it's hilarious to see people being serious about holding a 37 year old gamer's hand.

He doesn't even acknowledge that people help him most of the time, and when he does he still shits on them. It's always "Oh well X said to try this...I hope you're not lying to me" "*condescending tone* Uhmm okay chat is telling me multiple different things (Uh yeah cause in most games you have a variety of options) so someone's right and the rest of you are full of shit."

His entire shtick is the wounded bird routine and people with little real world experience take pity on him. Whether its bills or "detractors".

Point was more that he knew it could be done when everyone in chat was saying not to do it cause he needed the heal items and to come back later, there is no way he would of persevered unless he knew it could be done by someone at his gaming level, he saw someone else was able to do it.

Don't know the exact number, but he had a good amount of tips before he even started. When I read he was wasting time with some optional boss I figured it was because he saw Star Wars as a cash cow so might as well grind the playthrough to a halt and stretch out a few more streams until the well runs dry.

He also gets swindled all the time though. He's the guy store owners are begging to walk through the door because he thinks more expensive automatically equals better. When he moved he got swindled into a new lease for the BMW, which he actually said was a nice favor they did. Don't remember all the details but whoever he bought his furniture from tacked on an extra charge and he paid it. He swindled himself out of $2,000 for a "lemon" computer, which from all accounts is was actually fine except he didn't know how the hell to use it.

He can swindle wheelchair symbols, alcoholics, and lonely middle aged losers. Most of whom know they are being swindled but do it anyway, which makes them smarter then Phil because at least they know they're being taken for a ride.

QFT.
And Dave is shit at his con as well. I personally a woman who runs an 'author mill'. She's just as deluded as Dave in believing her own words and she makes millions from it by charging rubes $15,000 each to 'publish' their book on kindle.
I've been running a website exposing her bullshit for years and it barely matters. Why? Because the people that are smart enough to do their due dilligence about this shit don't need my message, and the ones that do are too gullible to doubt her words.

You forgot the funniest time he got scammed; it was when Pig rented the CT kahndo entirely because he was creeping on a girl or some sad shit like that. Either way he paid 120k on a place now worth barely half that due to his mentally stunted impulse control telling him do it now, you gotta be a big boy and look cool for this lady.

I'm sorry what? is that the origin story of Kaaando? I actually felt bad about it, but this puts it in a new perspective.

Phil is playing this new Star Wars game on the second highest difficulty, which is a surprise. He usually just picks whatever is the default or closest to normal but the in game description and the stream chat convinced him to step it up a notch. The combat looks like Sekiro for babies though, enemy attacks are super slow and well telegraphed, and the entire enemy model turns red for more than a before any unblockable move. Even with Phil's awful reaction time, that's easy. But I'm sure he will crow endlessly about how great he is for beating it on hard.

the second highest difficulty is also the second lowest difficulty

he's on normal, it doesn't go easy - hard - hardest

There's a lot of easy shit to miss, and there are things that are especially easy to miss are side areas that give shit like extra stim pack upgrades(health pot).
I've already spoiled myself by watching two other people play, and they have way less of these stim pack upgrades(2). Phil is currently at 4 and he's way behind the other people I watched in progression.

Should raise a couple ears for others for the fact he wants his hand held for Souls games even after playing them, and then actually not even seeming like he's struggling or lost for Jedi Fallen Order.

To be fair, even the hardest difficulty doesn't seem to be all that hard if you're remotely competent. I saw a streamer playing that difficulty yesterday and at various points 1) could one-by-one force kill each enemy without breaking a sweat, 2) had the AI break such that multiple enemies did not attack even though they should have (not a cutscene or scripted sequence) and 3) discovered that he could not be killed by the environment during a particular sequence.

Edit for clarification: Phil is 100% using a guide and/or looking ahead because he can't stand the thought of even a slight challenge. Just wanted to point out that his actual fights are going to mostly be easy too.

Another moron who had to learn the hard way they were giving their money to an asshole. It never matters when Phil berates everybody else, in fact most of the time they laugh along and post Phil's shitty emotes to show solidarity with the dear leader, but the second he gets mad at them personally only then do they understand he's an asshole. You didn't realize it the other thousand times he yelled at and berated someone for no reason? What did you expect when you asked a question like that? These are the people who give Phil money, it doesn't take a galaxy brain genius to swindle them. Phil isn't smart at all, he's simply lucky the internet is full of gullible marks more stupid than he is.

You kind of need to piece the clues together from several different Ask the King episodes.

Phil worked at the helicopter plant. Phil would car pool with some of his coworkers, one of which was a girl he liked.

One day she commented that he boyfriend was selling his condo and moving away. This was his chance. Phil could just buy her boyfriend's condo and then get the girl.

$130k later Phil had a new condo in "a bad neighborhood" and the girl suddenly stopped talking to him.

Phil has retconned this story to he bought the condo because it was closer to the helicopter plant. A kiwi a few months ago showed a google map of the distance from the condo and his parents house. It was like 5 minutes away or something like that.
