If you have an idea of what the stream was (i.e. game/retrospective), you can use the search on his videos page to narrow it down more easily. You may already know that, but I figured I would share. It's saved me tons of time before.

Well, true. But even thinking that, the only way you'd take on more debt is if you thought you'd be able to turn income around. Did he think the adpocalypse was temporary? That he'd figure out a way to get more money? Makes no sense.

As already mentioned, he wore that hideous shirt twice during two consecutive retrospective events. The only difference between those streams (besides the content he watched) is the fact that he included a tips goal of $200. It's the only time he did that, so naturally we can deduce that these screens are from february this year.

He took out two business loans before he moved to Washington. He also said in December that he was carrying over debt on his credit cards to newer ones. He also revealed during that stream that he can't apply for anymore credit cards.

I find it bizarre that he has a file labeled "Profit and Loss" at all. His business has never once in his 9 year career lost money. He invests less than $500 a month into something and has at worst received $7K back.

Speaking of separation of business and personal expenses... I'm 99% certain DSP could incorporate his business and

• have it pay him some minimal salary like $50K to get by comfortably without his debt
• have it spend the other $70K or more on mutual funds and hold them for investment and re-investment
• declare bankruptcy on his personal debt and spend the next five years paying basically nothing toward the credit cards and other unsecured loans
• walk away at 42 with no debt except ONE condo and his car
• walk away at not even 50 with the bankruptcy and bad debt removed from his credit report

I'm not an asset protection expert but I think this is legal and sound.

That struck me as odd too for similar reasons, but I think maybe this is just Phil playing 'big boy business degree man' and instead of titling the file 'Incoming and Outgoing Munny' he goes for the more grandiose ego-boosting 'Profit and Loss'. If Phil's sole-proprietorship business ever had an actual 'Loss' to declare Phil would be completely fucked. His 'business' is over 90% profit and he doesn't do anything with that profit besides give it all directly to himself.
