As much as I hope Cal realizes that he’s now free, I think he’s mentally fucked from his parents’ neglect & having his entire life revolve around his two brainless, meat sacks for sisters for so long, let alone throughout his formative years. I believe he genuinely loved them & at least somewhat bought into his mom’s fantasy that they actually had sentience & possibly personalities.
