Mittens is throwing his hat in the ring. Fabulous. Another bland-name politician promising us the same old thing: endless compromise and doormattery presented as "taking the high road" and "being reasonable".

I thought this was a desperate cash grab like Bernie's run is myself. I'm saying that given that he blew his chance in 2012 and probably spent any money he embezzled or kept by now and he's wanting to get some more of it from the donators who have no interest in Warren or others winning the DNC.

I mean, sure, he's raging mad at Trump because his brand of GOP pigshittery is dying, but I get the feeling that like that other guy I legit don't even remember, that this is a money/vanity run.

He's ruthless!

I get that Mormons aren't _exactly_ Christians, but there was already an attempt to get religious folks to not vote for Trump, and it completely didn't matter.

And Trump's done more for religious freedoms than those who like to remind you that they, too, attend a nice comfortable church full of people whose opinions they promptly forget exist as soon as they're sworn in.

Cue Pelosi declaring impeachment proceedings to be put on hold despite all the work she prepared and all the super duper evidence she had compiled due to lack of support from "certain" congresspeople...

I think it's more Pelosi has told AOC she won't be allowed to participate in the build-up towards the impeachment vote. And that Nancy most likely offered her some sort of bribe to get her to publicly distance herself from the impending car crash nightmare so people don't ask why AOC part of Nancy's collection of treasonous plotters now that the coup is entering this dangerous new stage

I know a lot of high-roller GOP donors and they fucking hate Mitt Romney with a passion that burns brighter than the sun. They didn't even like him during his run against Obama, they simply hated Obama that much more.

He has no chance.
And why would they like Mittens?
Even if he somehow took down Obama in 2012, hot take any halfway decent GOP nominee probably would have beaten Obama, he would been quickly bullied into irrelevance by the Dems.
Same thing would have happened with a Jeb! or Rubio presidency as well.
Republicans, and Americans as a whole, like Trump because he actually gets shit done and doesn't roll over and show his belly when ever the Left snarls.

With Florida it's easier to push the narrative of Dubya cheating, since he only won because of Florida and also had that Supreme Court decision ruled in his favor. With Trump it's harder to do because he won multiple big states that really crippled Hillary and it was sealed when he won over some of the Rust Belt states.

"There are these right-winged supremacists up in the hills practicing how they are going to have a war against the United States!"

Amazing how the whole Bush v Gore thing went down in Florida isn't it? No history of voter fraud there...

My father who is not left leaning and I were talking about that election and I was like, "It wasn't SCOTUS giving the election to Bush it was SCOTUS keeping the DNC from stealing it".

I hate Bush but there is no way Gore, who is a fucking turnip, got that many votes.

I'm gonna archive this video here too since it's the political equivalent of a nuke and should be seen by everyone. This might be one of the most effective salt and derangement miners we ever see since there's absolutely no way for a true believer to watch it and not experience legendary cognitive dissonance.

This is the stuff of fucking legend.

I understand that people who hate Trump are out for blood and are desperate to pin something on him, but what I have not yet seen mentioned is that impeachment has never removed a sitting president. Two presidents have been impeached, Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Both of them were later acquitted by the Senate and neither was removed from office. Impeachment proceedings were started against Nixon, but he resigned before he could be impeached.

Let's say Trump does get impeached (:optimistic: ). Wouldn't historical precedent indicate that he doesn't have to leave office? Clinton was impeached in January '99 and stayed president until January '01. Nixon resigned without being impeached to save face. Do you think Trump cares at all about saving face? Absolutely not.

Sees like a lot of premature celebration. Even if they do get him on impeachment, that won't get him out.

It isn't about impeaching Trump. It is about getting the narrative out there. The thing that people always ignore at least RE: Clinton/Nixon is that they were guilty. They were provably guilty.

The DNC has no actual evidence of any Trump wrongdoing. They have a dumpster fire in the Mueller Report and a phone call where nothing happened.

Shotgun to their own face.

It's the same kind of thing when these same kinds of people disown their own kin over this stuff; the fact of the matter is, those sorts were typically already individually deeply fucked up with some form of mental/emotional baggage long before Trump announced his run, they're just using him as an excuse to cut ties with the people they were already going to cut ties with at some point over some shit reason anyway

Cults demand people cut out undesirables...seems like mostly the left is pushing out people and cutting off people who don't agree with them. They have become the religious right from days long gone.

Oh Jesus, here come the 20,000 second-hand information "Whistleblowers" because God forbid the Democrats don't beat a horse's corpse until it's been pulverized into dust.

This is hilarious because the idea that Obama's IRS didn't deep dive on Trump is so absurd that it makes this clearly political.

Respectfully disagree. If Twitter was going to ban Trump, they'd have done it by now in a fit of impotent rage. But they won't because they know that Trump would move to a competitor and take his followers with him. Right now, Trump is good business and proof of Twitter's usefulness as a political medium. As deep into clown world as we are, money and power are still the prime movers of the world and nobody at Twitter is really all that embarassed by the drunk dancing bear in their circus tent that everybody comes by to see.

Furthermore, essays will one day be written on Trump's meme literacy; so it isn't just a circus act that happened by chance. Keeping Trump on provides more data, when he fails as much as when he succeeds. So the bear must dance on.

Twitter cannot ban Trump. They know they'll lose any lawsuit as a lefty judge ruled Trump's Twitter accounts are public forums.

Wasn't there a case where a girl got attacked for wearing a red 'Make Bitcoin Great Again' cap?

Jesus Christ this sounds so lame.

Imagine holding a president accountable for winning an election.

I have no idea who this faggot is nor do I care. Let him rage.

What the fuck is his problem

Also I would have no problem if trump ran him out of Utah in 2022

Mitt's got money in China and Trump is fucking with that money.

The Religious Right Tea Partiers Voted for Trump because the GOP Cucked em with Mitt "I am a bigger Jobber than McCain was" Romney

Sarah Palin was the least bad of the GOP's '08 and '12 tickets. Which is horrifying to think about.

I can't believe the party was in such bad shape that McCain, Romney and Ryan could make it to the top.

That is because she was a smart, principled small government lady, who got tacked onto McCuck and completely smeared by the media to look like an "idiot Alaskan redneck" and the GOP did nothing to help her. In the years after that..she became real exceptional, but I don't blame her for losing her mind after the GOP purposefully fucked her.

The "I CAN SEE RUSSIA FROM MY HOUSE!" was a Tina Fey quote that got attributed to her and the GOP did NOTHING to help her break that meme because GOP were jobbing in the '08 election because losers like McCain and Romney were afraid of being called racist by having any sort of spine against Barak.

Edit : Fuck I hate the Republicans and wish Libertarians had a sane fucking party to vote for.

It's not like Dubya was that great of an offering either, but he at least seemed like a human being as opposed to Gore and people basically had scandal burnout from Clinton. The GOP has been a shitshow of noodle-spined twits with a few dashes of authentic right-wingers that actually had a few "okay rein it in chuckles" stances for decades. The DNC seems to have entered into a similar period, but rather than a bunch of bland, overly moderate samefaces they've instead got the Technicolor Extremist Coalition running around being unelectable.
