What Ben fails to realize is that the issue isn't so much that women play roles in action movies, the real issue is that the only traits such characters seem to portray is that they're female, which means they must subvert expectations by default without any subtlety or character development. Basically, they're usually portrayed as just stereotypical tough guys, but as girls, and without a real personality.

There's actually something positive I can say about Benthelooney:
His condescending SJW reactions to High Guardian Spice, Brie Larson, and Gillette made me look for some of the vloggers I'm now subscribed to. Specifically ClownfishTV, BitHead1000, and NoBullshit.
I wouldn't be subscribed to Geeks + Gamers if not for the melodrama-rama that was Shut Up About Brie Larson.
Some day, I'll be one of those people. Being a boogeyman created by creeps who romanticize getting offended is a perk I can't be prouder of.

I've been watching his videos. All I've seen him do so far is make general observations of the latest political controversies. He's also mentioned to being okay with genuine LGBT's. It's rampant ones getting triggered by nonexistent crimes (a.k.a. SJW's) he has a problem with.
