Another thing I'm not clear on is: is this really supposed to be a novel or a cartoon? Why's it divided into "episodes"?
If you really do intend for it to be consumed in installments you should pace it appropriately.

Well, I'll explain.

I bascially, over a few weeks or so, came up with a plot for a 52 episode anime.

I initally just planned on writing a rough outline of it, but then I kinda got into it, and decided to "novelize" what I imagined in my head.

I figured I'd publish one episode at a time, for reasons I'm not too sure.

After awhile, I instead decided to split each episode into two shorter ones.

Hence, what I orignally posted was episode 1 of 104.

Now that I'm revising it, though, I may go back to 52 episodes, or maybe, just publish them as one big thing.

I'm not sure.

This may also explain the "telling, not showing" that was REALLY apparent in the original draft, since I lterally just tried writing down what I imagined in my head.

Not that that excuses my shitty writing, mind you, but it certainly didn't help things either.

Última edición:
@BrunoMattei, I just finished The thief of always.

Excellent stuff.

I may reread parts of again, to see how I can successfuly achieve what he did in my own writings.

I'll probably check out "the tortured souls" next.

Alright @Koresh and @BrunoMattei.

I've read some more of what you two suggested earlier.

I'm going to return to my series now.

I may rewrite a huge chunk of it from scratch, I'm not sure yet.

Rewriting is probably a good idea. Nearly all stories undergo several rounds of rewriting. No shame in it.

If you have any questions or want someone to look over a section, you can still always DM me.

I have to stress that it takes time to be good. I've been writing for just over 15 years and I don't know if I'm there yet or not, but friends of mine who are writers and have some tangible amount of influence have been very receptive to my work. Some of the best literature has been written by men well into their 40's and 50's. People making something amazing in their 20's is the exception to the rule.
