I dont think they're bad, but I've never found their music to be anything special or that different from all the other generic classic rocks of that era. I'm pretty sure if freddy mercury wasnt into into pounding dude butt thus being a brave icon, they'd be remembered as just another decent classic rock act.


ETA: I also think bohemian rhapsody (the song) is annoying, and not an amazing song, as most people think it is. I can think of several Queen songs I'd rather listen to than it, and I'm not even into the band. Also I enjoy the music of the grateful dead, so take everything thing I say with a grain of salt.

All of their lame songs about drugs and MKULTRA hippie shit turn into surreal poetry relating to their dead friend.
Also Charles Manson's interpretations are kinda funny but not nearly as good as paul is dead

I'd almost agree but I think Nirvana takes that award. At least the Beatles influenced some of the greatest bands ever. All Nirvana did was invent grunge, which is probably the worst genre of music.
