I'm surprised they're not doing Atlantis first. Then again, it already has a strong female POC lead and diverse characters like the black doctor and the latina mechanic, so they probably aren't interested since they can't use STUNNING AND BRAVE, DISNEY IS WOKE NOW marketing.

Yo, registered partly due to this thread. Just spent the last thousand years reading through. I first found her through ED, back when ED wasn't a complete dumpster fire. Lost track of her due to lack of interest, then found this thread. Sis been busy, gotta hand it to the woman to keep this up for all these years, but 'improving' at a snail's pace?

Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Treasure Planet were major flops that were systematically buried during the Eisner era. The Iger era is all about buying others' IPs and dusting off Disney's own and retrofitting them into a safe formula based around fan service. He obviously believes that those duds - box-office-wise - are salvageable.

Of course it is, her fanfic has been updating (relatively) steadily for like 20 years now. I think that's why I like her, actually - anyone else would've realized by now that they're the only one who cares about this shit and given up on it but she just.... keeps going

I wonder how much time she spends looking for enough "references" to composite and then frankencopy. Some of the panels look OK, then others obviously she had to wing it and failed.

The panel where she is laying and where Silver puts the covers on her look completely off in terms of anatomy. Her head looks incomplete in that last panel when Silver placed his hand on her head.
And she just looks far too skinny in the panel she's laying on the bed. Some of the shading looks sloppy too around her face.
I won't lie her art has gotten better over the years, but she's still applying the same mistakes. At least she's given Marina some age to her face nowadays.

Is there a vomit rating? I was desensitized to this stuff back when the thread was more active. Having to return to it suddenly without that level of tolerance built up is pure Islamic Content.
