“keep in mind, i haven’t really been on track.”
WE BEEN KNEW.
day 13: 566.0
day 14: 571.0
day 15: 570.8
day 16: 571.8
day 17 & 18: 572.4 lbs.
day 19: 568.0
day 20: 566.2
don’t act surprised, don’t play. it’s not swelling. it’s not sodium. you’re massive, boo boo. you’re weeks from 600 lbs.
i always find her attitude toward weight loss pretty fascinating. she responds to every drop of an ounce like someone would when they’re trying to fit into a pair of jeans or they’re looking to slim down for a wedding. she’s nearly 600 lbs. she could and should be steadily losing about 10 lbs a week for the next couple of months. her attitude towards being 566.2 lbs, which is .2 lbs more than the week prior, is just more proof that she genuinely doesn’t see herself as an enormous, super morbidly obese woman. her obsession with nutrients, too, always talking about fruits and vegetables that she will never eat like she could possibly be deficient, despite the fact that she’s wearing 450 extra pounds of nutrients that her body could use if it needed to. she’s too busy following instagram fitness and health pages, watching hot young people who cut and bulk and body build, who may drop three or four pounds over a couple months but otherwise, they’re perfectly healthy, to realize her situation. her mindset is built on motivational “any progress is good progress!” posts and pretty quinoa bowls and cute athleisure that she forgets she is dying; her knuckles are sooty, she’s bleeding intensely for prolonged periods of time, her body is rotting while she’s still inside it. gaining a couple ounces in a week after you went on vacation if you’re healthy isn’t anything to worry about. but when you’re at a body size where you could lose 50+ lbs a month just by eating 1200 calories a day, gaining a couple ounces a week means that you’re eating well over 5000 calories a day to not only maintain your tremendous size, but add to it, despite a very high bmr.
not to mention, she talks about moving more. the bedbound saga is coming soon, folks. she’s past the point where activity helps her and into the point where it will hurt her. one of these days, she’s going to be waddling to that tree and she’s going to hear a sensational popping sound, and when the firefighters put her on that supersized gurney, she’s never going to get up again. her recklessness towards food is one thing, but her constant boasting about how determined she is to pretend she’s normal and she can move like a normal person is potentially her most dangerous form of hubris.
i don’t know what it will take for big al to see her reality. maybe the 600 lbs mark will do the trick, but i said that at 500 lbs, and 400 lbs. we’ll see. i expect we’ll get there before thanksgiving(: can’t wait for that highly recommended content.
