Unless you needed to. It wouldnt surprise me to know that most of the VAs speaking up now are doing so at the behest of one of the players in this case. "Show solidarity with us or we lump you with HIM." Considering their "support" never extends beyond tweets is telling.
I'm willing to bet that regardless of their feelings they'd rather stay out like you said, and are forced to do say these things to keep the narrative alive. Since if KV stops bring in new things, Nick would control the narrative. Why do you think most of them mention or belittle Nick in some way?

Hasn’t in been said here that the only reason that Sean doesn’t hate Nozawa is because she’s the Original Goku so he feels he has to respect her?

Even though I don't like just simply believing hearsay and parroted things, I can see this happening. He would get eaten alive if he was to publically put his work on a pedestal over her's. He would never live that down. He can survive after making slights at the likes of Kirby and Kelamis, but not if he was to slight Nozawa.
I know he has publically lauded her work as Goku, but who knows if he genuinely feels that way.
