Man arrested after stabbing spree kills 4 in California - Where the good guys with knives? Where these "KNIFE-FREE" zones?

(CNN) A man went on a robbery and stabbing rampage in Southern California, killing four people before officers arrested him outside a 7-Eleven, police said.
In addition to the fatalities, the suspect also left two others with serious stab wounds in multiple crime scenes in Garden Grove and Santa Ana, police said.
The mayhem started Wednesday evening after the man allegedly stabbed two people to death at an apartment complex in Garden Grove. The suspect also lives in the complex, Garden Grove police Lt. Carl Whitney said at a news conference.
He also killed one person during a robbery at a Subway restaurant and a male security guard at a 7-Eleven -- both in Santa Ana, police said.

In Garden Grove, the man stabbed a female insurance company employee and a man pumping gas multiple times. Both suffered serious injuries, with the man's nose almost severed, Whitney said.
He was arrested after he stopped at the 7-Eleven, where he fatally stabbed a security guard.

America needs to step its game up. Chinese regularly get 100+ stabbing spree kill counts. All it takes is one to four angry Uyghurs, a crowded metro station at rush hour, and a knife.

I agree with the OP, in that gun laws are retarded but I just feel like adding emphasis on “spree stabbing” rather than “mass stabbing”. It was some kind of spree killing. He apparently was robbing people and killed two at an apartment. Not the same as a public mass killing since it took place at an apartment. But I can definitely see this happening in California. The last time we ever seen a mass killing done with a knife here in America was back in 2001 with the September 11 attacks. I believe somewhere between 4 - 7 people were stabbed to death on three of the four planes total before they eventually crashed. And ironically enough, that lead to new knife control laws in regards to carrying them on planes similar to how we get new gun control laws after every mass shooting.

If any of these people had a weapon to defend themselves, this would've ended with him dead a lot sooner. It almost sounds like people just offered to die, esp. the security guard. Was he just there to look menacing or something?

It's a good thing California's reasonable gun control laws prevented him from getting an AR-15 or there'd be dozens of victims.
Sure you might have less of a chance of death with a knife but I'd rather the pain be over sooner, honestly.

California is absolutely cucked, news at 11.
Unless he was on meth and shrugged it off like the Miami Cannibal. Nobody even lashed out at his balls in desperation?

Investigators discovered he'd stabbed the security guard to death and cut out his gun from his belt, Whitney said.

Nope the security guard is just bad at his job.
