I initially thought her allergy was a new thing, too. I had to double check and she did mention at one point that she was allergic to one of the cats, Charlie, here [timestamped]:

That is actually SO interesting and the hypothetical alone is enough to make me really REALLY want to see it happen....even if its only temporary.
Even a marked change in her behavior (either outright in vlogs or on her SM) would be enough to confirm that she is definitely here reading everything, all day long.

Another lolcow that I used to follow a long long ass time ago, before she got dry and boring AF, was Sheena Oum/Nicolle DuQuette. Another Narcissistic cunt and now-widow of the late Monty Oum.
People call her a Black Widow because the selfish bitch brought a cat into their apartmrnt KNOWING that Monty was aggressively, deathly allergic. But while Sheena never lifted a finger ever around that house or did shit to take care of the cat, Monty DID love and adore it with all his heart. So much so that not only did he do 100% of all the work in taking care of it, he went through dozens and dozens of rounds of allergy shots and medications to make sure he could live in the same apartment as the kitty. (WHILE being the only employed person/breadwinner as well)
See AL? That's what ACTUAL animal lovers and people who genuinely care and give a fuck would do.
But see ya in like four months after you abandon your cats. Again.

Well, they also have that "be nice, be supportive, no fat-shaming, we have to at least PRETEND we're all cheering for her" mentality.
Which means they're effectively a group of people who want to pretend like they have an addict in their lives.
The hell that is living with an addict aside, I actually can't imagine the mentality of people with so little to do that they seek this kind of thing out, even vicariously. Why are you looking for an open sewer to pour your love and concern into? Don't you have kids?
ETA: Not that any of us are all that much better, but at least we're just being entertained by the lunacy, not trying to save the lunatics through writing 2500-word "open letters" that will never be read.

Well, if the big white whale IS allergic to cat dander, there is a very quick fix. Unfortunately it involves actually bathing your cats regularly. And seeing as though Amber only bathes herself once in a moon cycle, the chances of her washing one her feline "accessories" at all is wishful thinking.

Adding to that now old topic about Amber is a lesbian or not, I'd say that the only reason she has only gorlfriends is because she has learned how to manipulate women. When she talks about her past, she usually only refers to the women that were there (mom, aunt Tammy, grandma), and very rarely to the men; unless they did something to her, they are treated pretty much like objects in her stories: they don't really do anything, they just happen to be there. Amber never talks about her interaction with her dad or her brother. Maybe she got beat up so much by them when she was younger that she's afraid of men in general and never tried to get close enough to them to understand how to manipulate them.
Also, didn't aunt Tammy say that Amber likes to "torture" her mom? Calling her up and asking her why she didn't love her and why she preferred drugs over her? That's manipulative as shit, especially if you're talking to a woman who had one of her children put up for adoption and the other she gave away herself*.
She used to do something like this with Becky too: in the goooorlfriend tag they did together, she proudly said that, when they fight, she asks to Becky "Why don't you love me?". It's not the cutesy "Do you love me still even if we just fought?", it's a disgustingly manipulative "Why don't you love me?"
*Not saying that Amber should forgive her mom: she could've given up drugs and whatever else before having kids, or at least after having them taken away the first time. No one should have to apologize to the person who ruined their childhood, but there's a difference between cutting ties or calling each other once or twice a year to say "Merry Christmas" and "Happy birthday", and calling a woman who is trying to get back to society and get clean to tell her she's the reason why you're 600lbs and dying at 28.
