Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

I wonder if Judge Chupp will be personally insulted if they keep praying that he is too incompetent at his job to notice that he is being hoodwinked by one side. "The judge won't watch Rekieta's stream. He doesn't have time for that. Let me categorically misrepresent what Rekieta was saying by removing the context because it helps my case." Sadly, I am not sure that it helps to make a liar of yourself to the court. There's spin, and there's misrepresenting. This is clearly in the latter category. If you are willing to misrepresent one thing, what else are you willing to misrepresent?

Also, why are they attacking Vic's credibility rather than establishing their clients' credibility? Their affirmative defense is truth. Misrepresenting the truth to the court doesn't give your clients a reputation for telling the truth.

Also why is Lemonhead so determined to get Nick under oath BEFORE he drops the TCPA? Is it that he has nothing whatsoever to work with?

The second question answers the first question.

Also if this gofundme BS is the best they could during Vic's deposition i'd say they are pretty fucked. I know self realization isn't MoRon's strong suit but they must know they are screwed, (or at least their attorneys do) hence all the discovery games and TCPA hail mary attempts.

Hm... four X's... followed by nine X's...

Is that a typical redacted name convention, or did the stenographer just let slip some autism fuel?

Who do we know with a four letter/nine letter name?

Todd Haberkorn fits, but that doesn't make sense to the context leading up to it.

Hold on, I think Lemoine made a blatant lie about the timeline.

"terminated their independent contractor relationship after all but one of the Defamatory Articles were released." His emphasis, not mine.

Per Funi's TCPA filing (Exhibit A), they terminated Vic on January 29th (but they didn't tweet about it until Feb 11).

But Lemoine's list of Defamatory Articles mostly happened after Jan 29th:

He's lying when he says all but 1 article came out before Funi fired Vic. The opposite is true: 1 listed article came out first, then Vic was fired, then 3 more came after. Only 1 article came out after the public tweet Funimation put out on Feb 11 announcing the firing, which is not the same thing as when they fired him.

But I see why else he wants to lie about this. Because that's not a complete list of articles.

From Funi's TCPA filing, check out their list of exhibits on articles that came out before their Feb 11 tweet:

Funi only lists one article coming out first, and 5 coming out after they fired him. (Plus another 10 after their Feb 11 tweet.) So Lemoine can't claim there was a groundswell of articles that led up to the firing.

Guess whose tweets were included directly in that Feb 4th ANN article, 1 week before the Funi public announcement? None other than Monica "I Have Spoken Up" Rial.

I wonder why Lemoine edited the full list of articles in a way implying the Feb 11 Funi tweet was the critical point, and cuts his client's involvement in articles before that. Really gets the ol' noggin' joggin' there.

And it's all but confirmed that Doucette was commissioned to act as the anti-Rackets.
In several senses.

One is successful enough in his law practice to support a wife and five kids. The other probably leeches off his optometrist girlfriend.

One appears to be a loving, married family man who works from home to spend time with his brood. The other abandoned his firstborn.

One has a pretty good following, relatively speaking, on social media and youtube. The other... doesn't.

One spends the time to read up on laws, documents, and tries to understand laws not under his jurisdiction. One couldn't be arsed to even research the case until now.

One is arguably good looking, if a bit pasty and with a nose the size of Rhode Island. The other is fat and bald.

I guess both have sleep problems. Nick's a narcoleptic (I think, or was it insomniac?) and the other can suffocate in his sleep without a CPAP.

The first Soye tweet I saw was on Jan 20th, but I was sadly a non-kiwi at the time and I didn't archive it so I can't prove it existed.

When Vic released his first statement, I was tracking the responses and Soye replied something like "This isn't good enough, I know you assaulted 4 people, I have proof". I vaguely recognized the name Ron Toye as someone engaged to a Funi VA, so it jumped out to me at the time. I figured people would react strongly to his allegation, so I checked back an hour or so later to see if anyone had commented on it but I couldn't find it and assume he deleted it fairly quickly.

Edit: I forgot Soye also said in that deleted tweet "You better stay away from me"

"You better tell these people to back off, silence is not consent, motherfucker, reeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......"

One can tolerate people disagreeing with him. The other, not so much.
