There comes a time in a person's life when they get sick of drawing out their own sound effects. Figuring out how to draw fireworks was enough work for me this week, thanks. At least they look nice.
Tricky, please tell me you are making crazy money with some obscure indie-comic with critical acclaim, because this is just A material.
I'm afraid not, no. In fact, if this comic gains any kind of widespread popularity, it'll be a first for me. I'm glad you like it so far, though.
I've decided it: I'm going to make a macro pic involving Hardcore Feels and the big kiss scene whenever it comes. This is going to be rad.
Go right ahead. If you want a high resolution version of the page, just let me know.
Consider yourself accomplished; you've actually succeeded in making me like these two characters.
Thank you! I'm always happy to hear my efforts aren't in vain.
Time to rename this thread "Feels: Where Trickie Manages to Make the Romance between Sonichu and Rosechu Believable" or something. It's just... Woah.
I've been keeping track of the comic for a while, and suffice to say you've managed to make an incredibly well-crafted story that could pass as professional work in both art and story out of Sonichu, while salvaging as much as you can out of the original. It'd take serious skill for that... You should be proud.
I wasn't even expecting a romance so soon, honestly. It struck me as odd at first, though thinking about it you gave it some time to build up, what with the whole lake thing, and the page that happened right after it establishing that a little time passed in between.
(Sorry for textwalling, I really just had to.)
I don't mind textwalling, actually, hearing what you guys think about the comic and where it might go is the best part of all this. I'll often go back through the thread and just start reading through the comments from the beginning when I'm not feeling very motivated.
I don't know if I'd call my work professional, but I'm pretty proud of how it's going so far. There's a lot of parts where I know it could be better, not just in the art but in the writing too. I am doing my best not to rush everything, but I also have to keep in mind the scope of this comic. The romance is still fairly early in the story, and I don't want to finish this comic a decade from now.
....Okay, it's official,
I'm shipping this. Curse you, Trickie.
You guys are going to burn me at the stake before this is all done, I know it. Goodness, if you think you hate me
now...
