Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

In the UK, the Labour Party's 1983 manifesto was described as 'The longest suicide note in history'. Their platform included unilateral nuclear disarmament, soaking the rich, abolishing the upper chamber of the legislature, government takeover of private industries and anti-Americanism. Sound vaguely familiar?

Surprise, surprise, they lost in a landslide.

There are a couple of factors to be had though not present in our current situation:

1. Labor and the unions had fucked shit up HUGELY in the years leading up to Thatcher taking over. Beyond anything Obama, Clinton, and Carter had done leading up to the elections of Trump, Bush, and Reagan as a response.

Unions were drunk with power and basically so fucking corrupt, that a lot of people were happy to see Thatcher nuke them from orbit due to the British unions truly forgetting their place.

And Labor were the biggest fucking feckless cunts around in the mid-late 70s, especially dealing with the unions and their own lunatic fringe. Especially since Foot (author of said "suicide note") was one of the freaking "sane" ones compared to Militant. Militant was a full on communist group who spent YEARS slowly taking over Labor starting on the local level (because they were all a bunch of unemployable parasites who, like today's SJW death kult, used the fact that they didn't work and contribute to society to harass and infiltrate and dominate everything on the left because no one with a job and family or life, had the free time to do what they were doing.

2. The Labor version of the Blue Dogs finally told Labor to fuck off that election year, forming their own party (which helped keep Labor in the wilderness for a further period since they lost the center-right vote)

3. Thatcher waging the war in the Faukland (Trump hasn't done that.... yet)

4. Foot himself basically getting the nomination because he was at the end of his career and that his "suicide note" was allowed because his allies screeched that Foot was going to retire anyway if he loses and that the party platform the "suicide note" promoted was everything he believed in/wanted to achieve and that he wanted to go out "swinging" and pushing every lunatic left cause he believed in for what he knew, was going to be his last political battle.

This "let the old man have his way on his career's deathbed" aspect of the Labor Party's catastrophic 1983 campaign, ultimately was allowed to happen for one chief reason. The remaining "blue dog" Labor types realized they would never be able to start fixing shit, purging Militant infiltrators, and moving the party back to the center unless the lunatic left and everything they believed in, was rejected to such a degree and in such a humiliating fashion, that the lunatic left would be so fucking broken by the scale of their defeat, that they would have no choice but to go away and let the adults run things.

MAD Magazine is dead, probably in part due to rampant TDS.

They weren't doing well, but then they went full anti-Trump only to drive off the right-leaning part of their audience, meanwhile the NPCs abandoned them to get their anti-Trump fix in a more timely manner from Hollywood, late night shows, literally every other media source, etc.

Mad Magazine has been dead for a long time, but they made the basic error that has destroyed many a satirist: They decided that certain targets were safe, and to focus exclusively on others. A proper satirist offers no one any safety. Ever.

I stopped reading after they had their Harry Potter 1 parody on the shelves the week of the movie's release and no mocking of Lord Of The Rings 1 for months because lolWarner.
MAD had been skidding since the early 80s as the writing thinned, but even with their long slow downward spiral I'll press F for them.

You simply can't compete with the edginess of an online publication or community.

MAD was only popular because of it being the only survivor of the Comics Code Authority.

"But you need to trust the government you guys!" - Socialist Idiota

I saw that vlog posted last January about Flint water problems.

I quoted these comments before Youtube remove them because some SJWs will whine after they're was triggered by the comments in question.

Black folks have a tendency to expect a sitting President to fix all of their local problems after either not voting in the local/midterm elections or just voting straight democrat. And don't even get me on my soap box about these black empty suit politicians. Those nigras have exploited black people more than a politician ever has.

I visited my cousin when she lived in Flint back in the 90's. It was horrible. My sisters friend posted that same meme on FB like an idiot. Meanwhile, the city of Benton Harbor where we're from which is near Flint, looks like a third world country. And it's ran by blacks folks. (Democrats) But no one there is complaining about those that's running the city. They just focus on hating Trump.

That's neat and all but he already gave them $100 million back at the very start of his presidency, and the water's pretty much been completely dealt with at this point, I don't understand why so many people keep bitching about it as if Trump didn't assign a bunch of funding to the repairs years ago. I realize that the news cycle is a little slow but Jesus Christ people try to keep it within the same year at least.

Problems are campaign platforms to speak from. Solve a problem, you don’t have an issue to run on.

That’s been the history of modern politics in America up until recently. If you fix something, how can you ask people to re-hire you around election time to do what you promised?

I’m trying to imagine this kind of shady broken-window policy in real life business. You would be raked over the coals if you tried this in most lines of work.

This is precisely why “racial tensions” and “wealth disparity” flare up suddenly every four years.

Found another artist who specializes in Trump insanity.

Here's his take on the Fourth of July parade:

There's more where that came from.

Holy shit. I'm just impressed someone used Napoleon for Trump instead of one of the WW2 asshats. I was beginning to think nobody remembered him or he was rehabilitated like Genghis Khan.

Isn't it the state's job to fix Flint's water and not the federal level people?
They have replaced God with the feds.

(At least God only asks for 13%.)

Only Republican to call for impeachment suddenly decides to leave the party? Wasn't there a term for that? Oh yeah, RINO.

He goes on to decry partisanship and the rhetoric that divides and dehumanizes us. My only rejoinder would to be ask where does most of this rhetoric come from these days, Mr. Amash? Hint: It's not the party you are leaving.

Ironically enough, he is a libertarian (like that means anything anymore) and was once rated as one of the most conservative members of the House, so I don't expect this move to win him any friends on the left.
