Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

So the donald refugees were going to voat.

Looks like they were headed off at the pass by their older weeaboo brother.

I don't mean to imply the donald is gone, just that many of them are jumping ship.

The best thing you can do is remove yourself from the hugbox. I don't care if it's Trump or Hillary, people need to get out of subreddits, they are terrible for constructive criticism. I'd love to sit down and watch the news do an unbiased critique of Trump. But the entire background noise is "Two scoops!" or "Russia peepee tape!". I have to read government department reports and follow up white house press releases just to find out what the fuck is happening.

Honestly, I am slowly coming around to the idea that the internet in general just wastes time and destroys lives. This website testifies to this fact and that's probably why I'm here.

You can get interesting critiques of Trump from white nationalists, but I wouldn't call them unbiased, just unique. I don't think you can really find unbiased critiques, but if you collate together a bunch of different biased critiques you can get close to the whole picture.

The problem is people aren't willing to do the one biggest thing that could reduce carbon footprint in a generation and that's nuclear power. Eventually we'll solve the fusion problem and essentially have unlimited energy but that's still seeming a couple generations out.

Until then we really need an alternate energy source that works and can be rolled out on a large scale, and the main such source is fissionables. But the same people complaining about carbon are completely unwilling even to countenance it largely for irrational reasons.

I 100% agree. Nuclear fission power is the best alternative we have right. It's the cleanest energy source we have right now. The idiots fighting against nuclear power are, ironically, one of the biggest obstacles to climate change right now

If we can get commercial fusion plants going, then we'd be set since the energy we'd get from it would allow us to use any method we want to capture carbon out of the atmosphere. Fusion would be amazing. Clean power run on seawater which is 10 million times more efficient than fossil fuels.

A large contingent of these Donald folks have migrated to Voat. Imagine our surprise when the mods began immediately to delete posts and ban outsiders for wrongthink. They aren't assimilating to the local culture successfully. Been fun to watch.

I remember reading that a while ago a bunch of The Donald users were bullied off of Voat because there are literal neo-Nazis and white supremacists on Voat who hate Trump for not being extreme enough (maintaining a strong relationship with Israel, not actively creating a white ethnostate, having a Jewish daughter, etc).

Yeah, this is what I'm talking about. Voat is literally the containment biohazard center for people who are too edgy for normal social media websites. It's Reddit's dumping ground, full of incels and people who unironically believe in Pizzagate. The boomers from The Donald won't fit in there.

That's not why they finally dropped him. It was a melting of support. I think it really finalized when trump started tweeting internet tough guy tier "antifa better not mess around" stuff with no realistic action from HIS justice department. That's at least when the neo-nazis I knew gave up.

I’m not sure “he’s a fucking kike-lover” is an interesting critique, personally, they tend to use that line on everyone left of Mussolini

Why would neo-Nazi groups support the guy with Jewish grandchildren in the first place? Wtf did they expect lol?

Strawmen are easy to knock over. You do get some of that hyperbolic rhetoric but there are some well reasoned critiques within it. Largely stemming from a font of tweeting about an issue and nothing happening. That's really what they're mad about. Just ask em, or hell, ask me.

Why would neo-Nazi groups support the guy with Jewish grandchildren in the first place? Wtf did they expect lol?
Probably what he campaigned on, hardline civic nationalism. Or the birthright citizen stuff he saber rattled about before the midterms. I don't think neo-nazi is a good frame either.

Stop for a second and think about what you are proposing first. Okay, Trump says he will shut down those facilities, where do the kids go? Motels? How much will this cost? How much money will you need to spend on staff. Will you need to install cameras for security? How much will these new facilities going to take to be built?

So then Trump spends a few billion or more dollars and does what the media says, and 12 months later the kids are in a fancy super government child center (assuming the dems don't block it to make him look bad).

But you don't care anymore, because the media isn't reporting on it, they never gave a shit, it was about making Trump look bad, they don't care about kids, get real, otherwise it'd be front page news the first day the photos appeared during Obamas term.

But now they are talking about something else from another presidency that Trump inherited. So either way the media wins.
1. How do we renovate prisons and other government facilities? Your argument is a general case against renovating any government building in general.
2. You're assuming a great deal about myself from very little information. For example, I knew about the conditions of immigration detention centers from 2013 on; in fact, they were part of what got me more politically-active, for better or for worse.
I sincerely apologize; my only explanation is that I am human and fallible, and it gets extremely tiring to have actual salient points that should be bipartisan be responded to by others with what boils down to "shut up libtard".

Next generation nuclear reactors are incredible. It sure is a shame supporting it is political suicide.

Reminder that Cool Clock Kid got more facetime and goodies from the President than that white teenager Taylor who built a fusion reactor and proposed we cover the underpopulated heartland in miniature underground reactors.

For political parity, Bad Orange Man didn't even bother meeting with the new youngest to achieve fusion physicist.

They are Neo-Nazis, they have a extremist position, the fact they supported a moderate like Trump made me laugh my ass off. They really only have one commonality, and that's civic nationalism and protectionism. The fact they actually thought Trump was just going to drop the Army on antifa and start gassing gays shows how close they are to the SJWs that believed the same thing. As I said before, stupid exists on both sides.

What's even funnier was that they turned Taylor Swift into a Nazi aryan ideal girl meme, when if they knew anything, shes the biggest closeted lesbian ever. It just shows they are fucking morons.

Your "neo-nazis" supported him for a wall and hoped for stricter immigration policy. Which he made the bedrock of his campaign. They got made when he failed to deliver on the bedrock of his campaign. I fail to see the stupidity.

Should I bring up the hint at a birthright citizenship executive order? Where they stupid for wanting something so simple? When it was dangled in front of them?

Blatantly misunderstanding what people thought they were getting out of 2016 (what they were explicitly promised) and then calling them stupid for expecting it (what they were explicitly promised) is bad standards.

I get the appeal to horseshoe theory, but in this case, it doesn't add up.

What is your obsession with white knighting neonazis? Real ones, I mean, not the “anyone left of Stalin” definition.

What failure to deliver?

Executive Order 13769, titled Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States, also known as the Muslim ban[1] or travel ban, was an executive order by United States President Donald Trump.
