If a con operator gives in he surely hasn't understood that caving in to the demand of these people will not save him or his enterprise.
As AnOminous said they'll never stop demanding until you or your company are done for. Caving in to the demands of these wankers does your company more harm than good and if you have a PR department or a PR consultant, who wants to cave in, you might consider getting someone who is fit for the task.
These people are a minority, a loud and agressive one, but a minority and a well coordinated PR campaign could kick their asses so hard that they'll think they got hit by a truck.
And those Con's who haven't caved in to those dumbasses and didn't cancel Vic's contract have done better business than those who have. Unsatisfied customers won't come back to your politically correct/diverse shitshow of a con, they vote with their wallets and feet. SJW's don't attend your con, it's families with their kids, young adults and old salts like me who grew up with Star Trek, Lost in Space and Star Wars. As Nick said: "It's not for you, it's for the fans!"
Once you have started to resist these peoples ridiculous demands and their accusations (which are never backed up by facts) you will see that they're the paramount example of an internet tough guy.
Con operators should also carefully think about who brings in the attendees and the money and that's surely not toxic brands like Monica Rial, Jamie Marchi or any other of these dumbfucks associated with these wannabee me-too'ers. I also would carefully think about it if it is worth the hassle to have Thotmore, and that other costhot whose name I can't remember, running around on your premise.
TL;DR: If you resist and fight, you might loose. If you cave in you have already lost.

It's clown fucking world when Kiwi Farms is the most credible source documenting bad behavior in the era of #MeToo.
On the stream Null did with Rekieta a few days ago, he pointed out that every false statement on KF lessens the site's value. So the rules and moderation are in place to make sure we can trace back claims to online info, with archives if necessary. Sure, we speculate about the gaps, but the culture here is that no one will take speculation as truth, and we are constantly challenging that speculation with other bits of info. Our biggest punishments are laughing at people, and the Dumb tag.
Contrast that to the virtual lynch mob, who wants actual RL firings based on affidavits no one has seen, two anonymous danger hairs saying "I know the other and trust their story", plus ArmzGurl whining about bad looks.
I'm not a fan of everything KF does, but I'd rather have an Internet that played by KF rules than one where people on KickVic are taken seriously.
