💤 Inactive Brooks Heatherly / Brooks Show / No Bullshit - Fat Trend-Chasing Cuck, No effort content

Culture war people are the ones keeping this shit above water. They know they are doing something they perceive as important, but they're sure as shit aren't going to read or follow national/world news or anything, so they'll have a BASED ally sum up the latest controversies for them in easy to digested ten minute videos. I don't think many of their audiences even necessarily like the content or feel any entertainment from them, like the previously mentioned Metokur videos, but they feel like they need to "stay informed" through them.
Also the people following these figures know they oppose the dominant leftist order but are still too scared of the "alt righters" and actually having to put something on the line for their views, so they optics-cuck and support people who seem radical but have no actual risk of doing anything useful or dangerous.

I have friends who do this with Brooks and Hamburglar sigh. Though in terms of “those kind” of videos, I prefer Memology 101’s approach, his videos are short, sweet, to the point, and even have a cute little zinger or punchline at the end. Meanwhile, with Hamburglar, Brooks, or RTU, I have to sift through 8 minutes of the 10 minute video’s “fat fuck storytime” segments just to get to the point. And like @Shaka Brah said, these niggers have a habit of optics cucking to skeptosphere fags like Madcocks, Vee, or Mr. Applebees the moment they get accused enough of being in the “nazi zone”

Memology isn't a "personality" channel, though. it's well enough if the videos are legitimately OF something, but the whole thing were these mongoloids feel like they have to editorialize an already very simplistic take on something is queer.

I've noticed in some of the Hambly shit (which I watch while totally autistic and mad at) he makes a point to refer to nearly everything he says as a "spicy take", like motherfucker it's the exact same take everyone else in your sphere has, worded longer and worse. Bobblehead motherfucker adds literally nothing to the proceedings, but feels like he's dropping bombs on 'em.

It had it's evolution from the debunking videos and then fell into a niche whereby a lot of the different skeptics started doing this form of arm chair journalism, by critiquing different events and news articles.

Most of them watched each other and a lot of the outer sphere started to take queues from the bigger players and report on fringe articles.

The creators sort of incubated each other, as what works on one channel would undoubtedly inspire the work on another, and as the field became wider more niche subjects have turned up.

Hambly is essentially gaming and entertainment news, and became the successor to Sargon in that respect. He only really covers those hobby interest spheres.

The nice thing about this content is that you can have three or four different creators giving critiques on articles, and it will often be the same talking points, but since they have a captive audience that watches this content there will be a lot of carry through from other channels and subscribers. At this point the response is almost formulaic.

Do they enjoy it? Probably to a certain extent, though I can't say what fuels the egos of these people enough to chase after the viewing numbers. There is certainly some competition between some of the bigger swinging dicks but others are happy to have an almost parasitic relationships because they will get views, they just have to produce content.

Metokur is only different in the fact that he is spontaneous and clearly does it because he enjoys it, but does the stuff he wants to do. There is a random element of fun, and Jim is great at finding or at least highlighting internet oddities to people.

Not to forget little old Brooks in all of this. The reason he really is a huge piece of shit is because his entire channel is predicated on getting views from the pool of other viewers, and he only reports on stories others have reported on and got good viewership on. So not only is he not able to source his own material. (though a lot do this admittedly) but he's unable to put any other kind of spin on it, than the safe this is what people want me to say on this subject, which is why his content is so milquetoast and easily forgettable.

Brooks has admitted in streams that he is alt-lite leaning alt right because he wanted to be including in the skeptosphere tm but considered himself to be some gateway conduit to people joining the alt-right.

Again you kind of need to actually produce content that is interesting to get that sort of attention or traction.

The only thing that guys like Hambly, Brooks, and RTU have that make them special is their popularity. And their popularity is already beginning to be killed off by the rise of streamers like Guntlord and Wetarded Warski

Edit: Don’t get me wrong, their streams are shit, but they’re at least less boring than these monotonous fags

I'd disagree.

So in classical TV context you have a core audience for something, a show or series, but it's never the core audience that leads the decisions by the networks in terms of audience chasing, they're always after the casual viewers or new audiences, and it's much the same with Youtubers.

Subscribers are split between core audiences and new viewers, and the drivers of all metrics are new viewers or retaining interest in the casual viewers.

The core audience of these skeptic channels is much smaller than the casual viewers but can be depended upon to watch the majority of content released and even cross watch because it's the content they want.

People like Brooks depend on cross watchers. Hambly on niche viewer interested in the latest SJW attack on a fandom. I don't know RTU so I can't comment.

Where as casual viewers have short attention spans, so you need to compete in terms of content to make sure that they watch you instead of the other guy. Warski has always been a drama whore, but when he saw that his casual viewer demographic was dropping off because all his movies were about what Francesca Ramsay or MTV said, he started stumbling around to find his viewers again.

Andy and Ralph's channels need the numbers to maintain current income levels, and when it takes a massive hit because the drama dries up they suffer because they seem incapable of forming good business strategies or back up plans. (Isn't Andy trying to revive the abortion that was Purple Dragon?)

As for popularity I wouldn't say either Brooks or Hambly's channels are large enough to show some major cult of personality, so I don't think that their personality plays as much in terms of viewers as their content does. Brooks for one doesn't have any outside of the tame opinions others have already fielded. Hambly is just a desktop new reader who occasionally gets his ass whipped by trannies.

I guarantee that if the ban was happening in a Muslim country instead of Alabama, Brooksy would’ve completely changed his tune and went on 20 minute lecture on how much more tolerant and Pro-LGBT The West is than than nasty mudslimes. Brooks is only okay with Alabama taking it off the air because it involves people he dislikes

So, he's pro-censorship when he doesn't like the thing. Imagine my shock.

Well he is like, blatantly misogynistic. I know the adjectives of racist and sexist have lost all their meaning and weight nowadays but with Brooks I think the shoe fits.

I wouldn't go that far, but I do think that Brooks is an idiot that is so wrapped up in his anti-sjw ideology, that he lost all meaning of what is or isn't propaganda, that he'll basically call anything propaganda, if it shows the slightest sign of anything that fits what anti-sjw's don't like.

That’s basically how I feel about guys like Louis Le Vau and OAG’s Billy D, and much of KIA as well, they’re so wrapped up in being Le Intellectual Skeptics™ that that they can no longer behave like normal human beings. They’re just like the Breadtubers, they see literally everything from a political lens (an anti capitalist/anti-SJW one for the former and an anti-capitalist/PC one for the latter)
