Im very sure they have been. They've been screeching since the beginning about how this was PRIVILEGED INFORMATION, despite obviously spreading it around between each other and to other sources (io9). This has been primarily a PR campaign on their side the entire time.

Nick is at least implying that Sony was brought in to do the investigation because Funimation has no functional HR department. The investigation was inconclusive. Funi however used the investigation as an excuse to fire Vic anyway.

I mean, he does come out, talk a ton of shit. Reveal things that are thought hidden. After this is done shit tons of people jump at that various VAs relentlessly till the end up chimping out and further damning themselves.
Despite all of this the most protest to try and stop him was what? Soyeboi's campaign for BAR complaints, impotent whining on twitter, Shane the child groomer getting straight merc'd on his channel, and a piss-poor endless PR campaign....

Nick talked to Beard today, Beard said that new discovery info came in at last minute, suits were prepped to go on Monday New info came in late yesterday, has to be verified and integrated into complaint.

New information / discovery came in at the last minute. The suits were basically ready to go out Monday. The new information came out yesterday. They have to review it, confirm it, add it to the suits, and edit the papers. The petitions were not ready to go out. They signed the petitions and sent them to Ty to review them this evening. They should be filed tomorrow unless something major happens.
