That episode is amazing and anyone in the fandom who didn't like it because yellow horse got mean is a pussy. I still ironically use the line "Never apologize when you can criticize" from that episode.
Funny how during winter when he slowly uploads videos, the patreon is per month but now that it's spring and he feels like working and will likely make more than 1 review a month, now the patreon is per video.
I like to think of people like Enter as more like adolescents instead of adults. He's a little different because he seems to be even more anti social and has autism, but I digress.
It's hilarious and sad to know that four year old girls who watched that episode didn't get nearly as upset (if at all) as these grown ass men.
I'd kill to see a fan script of Growing Around where the kids mock and ridicule a grown man who reviews cartoons and constantly misinterprets them.
From what I have heard, it’s apparently explained in the episode. I can’t stand anything about that show, so I refuse to ever humor the idea of watching it though.
That could canonically work since all the cartoons would be made by kids for kids in that universe. Which would also imply they’re all horrible and worthy of an adults criticism.
I'm pretty sure there's an episode about kids making television shows for adults but they're full of dumb adult stereotypes like "dude coffee lmao" as a sort of parody of adults in the real world making dumb cartoons based on what they think kids like. Needless to say, Enter doesn't exactly handle the premise with grace.
All he had to do was copy a rugrats episode and he’d be golden. A huge amount of the episodes were the babies misunderstanding how adults work and what they like and doing the wrong thing, but somehow causing the result to be what they wanted in the end. I know Enter has seen that show. And I know he knocks off ideas, so what gives?

I think he was trying to make one of those jokes for parents watching cartoons with his kids that the kids won't really get (like the "Fingerprints" scene in Animaniacs) but, he fucked it up and just made something that sounds creepy instead.
