It's recommended to breastfeed exclusively until 6 months, and then continue for at least one year and beyond according to the American Academy of Pediatrics. According to the World Health Organization, babies should be breastfed for at least two years and beyond. I don't know where you've gotten the idea that babies should be weaned at six months, but you're wrong. The only good thing Whiny has ever done for her kids was breastfeed them, especially since their diets are so lacking in wholesome and nutritious foods. If she's still breastfeeding Troy then yeah she's weird, but breastfeeding a two year old is not outside the realm of normal.

Binding while breastfeeding is a stupid idea and can easily cause issues with blocked ducts and even lead to breast tissue infections. If she's binding while nursing, she's an idiot. Since its already confirmed that she's dumb as rocks, I'd say she probably is.

But yes, for sure she is binding and breastfeeding at the same time. She even shows off her binder in a couple of her videos .

Breastfeeding for AT LEAST two years?? Is this an American thing? I have worked with children of various ages for almost ten years and I can only think of a handful of cases over the years where children over the age of 2 still breastfed.

The idea of breastfeeding a child that has teeth, can walk and most likely is starting to talk seems pretty weird to me.

Exclusively breastfeeding until the child is 6 months old and then trying to wean (is that the correct English term?) the child off of breastfeeding between the age of 6-12 months sounds reasonable to me. Give or take a few months of course since all children are individuals with different needs.

If Lainey is still nursing her daughter when she's over 3 years old I would be pretty concerned for that child as it would be a good indicator of stunted development. A normal 3 year old should be able to walk and run, eat solids and use utensils, talk (in some capacity), show signs of understanding mathematical concepts like the one-to-one principle and cardinality. If Greg's daughter still is stuck being breastfed I doubt she has had opportunity to develop all the skills a 3 year old should have.

What I'm trying to say with this pretty rambly post is that I'm concerned for the children in that house, I doubt they are getting the intellectual stimulation and love they need to be able to grow as human beings.

Also, binding while breastfeeding is a bad idea and she should stop.

Hell, from what my mom told me the moment I could take solid food I started to refuse being breastfed and opted solely for solids. Shit, one of my favorite baby pictures of mine is me as a 1 year old trying to chomp on a friggin' turkey leg!

Well, they do call them milk teeth for a reason, but most mothers I know called it a day at around 18 months. They may have kept pumping, but it was more of a weaning situation where it was kept just in case the kid needed a "snack" or to put them to sleep at night, but they were getting them on solidish food by then. Personally, being from the south, they had me on sweet tea and fried chicken at 9 months. True story. Probably explains why we have our ample share of fatties.

Not to derail too much but I think the main reason why we have our share of land whales down here is because we have poorer areas, or have a larger amount of people that basically just live off welfare. Welfare goes to junk food and McDonald's which isn't healthy (and let's face it, as much as we hate it a great many of those on welfare are just on it due to laziness and they aren't gonna try to cook healthy) and voila.

The longest I've heard of someone breastfeeding a child was 2-ish years.
