Sonichu [Fan Comic] Rosechu's Story - A reimagining of the Sonichu story from Rosechu's perspective.

Okay, so, just letting everyone know, I'm going to be trying to take it easy for a little while. Not sure how long, probably until I'm feeling better and this wretched cough goes away.

This means work is going to be slow, so I'm going to have to rearrange and prioritize a bit. I'm going to work on the Fan Jam page next, then the next SIayer of Loveshys episode, then the next two pages of Rosechu's Story (which, hopefully, I can get done on time for new years, but it's no big deal if I don't).

Anyway, you guys are dabess! :heart-full: Hope you're all having a happy holidays so far!

Take as much time as you need, Trickie. Your stuff is easily worth the wait ^_^

This is my favorite "fan" comic since Asperchu so far, I can't wait to see more. I just read all the way to the current point last night. I think it could honestly be CWC-approved so far except for the insult to him at the beginning (and later through Liquid watching) and Rosechu being a male Raichu. I kinda like what you did with Chris Chan being separated in two, as long as Solid ends up being more of a pitiful Gollum-like figure rather than a dictatorial straight villain. That kind of thing can be funny, but I feel making him more of a tragic figure is closer to the truth and more fitting to the general feeling of the comic so far, with its sentimentality and way of making everything more endearing. I don't know exactly what role Rosechu coming from a male Raichu actually has in the story so far, but at the moment it just feels more off to me. It's a funny idea, but the comic so far has been more about making Sonichu actually decent and it seems to detract a bit from it to me. Like for example, I would imagine Rosechu to be more distressed about the situation. Maybe there's some explanation for it later, like Solid Chris transformed Rosechu's mind as well as her body to fit his idea. So far it just seems like that part could be removed and it would feel more natural.

Edit: Removed redundancy in a sentence.

I know super duper late to the party here....but this comic is FUCKING AMAZING. :) I legitimately enjoyed all of it so far! I cannot believe someone could write a Sonichu fan comic of all things and have it be a well written page turner. It helps of course to be a well versed in Sonichu. I love that it actually aims to be a well put together comic while working to fix, add on to, and re-write what CWC has given us ....and not just a huge thing written explicitly to piss Chris off (like Sonichu the Animated Series was).

Yeah, Rosechu's seeming lack of reaction to her gender switch does seem weird, that's a perfectly valid criticism. I think I maybe either brought it up too early or didn't address why this isn't a distressing thing for her early enough, at least not enough that we're not kind of sitting here watching her and Sonichu bond and wondering why she's not rejecting being treated and referred to as a female. That said, I'm putting in plans to address it in the scene right after the one we're currently in, and I have the perfect opportunity to work it into the conversation, so hopefully that'll make it less awkward until we're far enough in the story to delve deep into that particular part of her character development.

I'm not so sure about a Gollum-like figure for Solid Chris, to be honest, as there's another character who's going to end up fitting that particular bill a lot better, but Solid's role in the comic is going to be somewhat complicated, I think. I've said before that the goal, overall, is to portray him more or less as he is portrayed in the comics, and perhaps add some behaviors that he exhibited from real life and his videos, maybe. I don't think I can really avoid some dictatorial elements to the story or character, but it's not going to be stormtroopers out in the streets goosestepping past large red banners with Solid's face all over them.

I hope Chris dies in ur comix :ween: :ween: :ween:

Dr. Meme! Stop giving away the ending! >:V

:heart-full:

He gets set on fire Asperchu style and Christine rises from the ashes like a beautiful Phoenix.

Then she'll spread her mange-riddled wings and fly away, off to search for the next gal-pal.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the comic so far. :)

Fuck it, Trickie, YOU WIN THE CWCKI FORUMS. Champtom, you are legally REQUIRED to hand over the Cwcki Forums and all of its assets to Trickie! No, I'll go one step further, YOU OWN SONICHU NOW. Vivian, you are legally REQUIRED to give all of Sonichu and its assets to Trickie in the next 24 hours!

Meh. Gender change wasn't too weird in the early pokemon generations.
Bulbapedia dijo:
  • Because Azurill's gender ratio does not match that of its evolved forms and its evolution is not dependent on gender, being female 75% of the time while Marill and Azumarill are female only 50% of the time, female Azurill have a one in three chance of evolving into a male Marill prior toGeneration VI. Whether or not this will happen is determined by its personality value. Azurill is the only Pokémon to do this.

Okay, what you said actually sounds pretty much like what I meant. Gollum was a bit of a loose comparison. I meant sort of a pathetic tragic villain. I'm curious though who is going to end up being closer to that now. I didn't mean having no dictatorial elements, but I'm glad to hear that there aren't going to be electric hedgehog CWC-troopers that are so popular with fans. I'm excited to see what happens.

Perhaps within Trickie's creativity lies the cure to autism; the anti-autism if you will.

I could always do a subplot where I go to the future and they use my blood to create an autism vac.cine. Whether or not it actually cures autism, I can't say.

Yeah, definitely no storm troopers, the closest it'll get is probably his "boys in blue", which are essentially his police force. Now, there IS going to be something fairly Orwellian going on, but it's 100% canon.

Anyway, sorry I haven't been keeping up, guys, I'm working on the next page now. I'm actually currently fighting with my tablet, because it's bugging out. For some reason it's losing pressure sensitivity at random. (If you look closely at the sketch below, you can see short little lines and dots that are thicker than the others, but they're not that obvious in this resolution). I have no idea what's going on with it. Hopefully I won't have to replace it because TABLETS IS EXPENSIVE. Still trying to mess around with drivers and all that stuff, at any rate. May even try a clean Windows install if it comes to that, because I'm a little overdue.
