16 Minute of Onision Screaming, Yelling, and Making Unintelligible Noises (Ultimate Cringe)
I want to hell and back to make this.

no, like...don't take this the wrong way but...what the fuck is wrong with you? this is the shit of urban legends. "Legend has it if you can listen to all sixteen minutes of Onision screaming, Greg himself will show up in your back yard to cut down your trees and try to burn them with gasoline."

also good god, I wasn't aware I could feel worse for his kids and his neighbors and his pets with their sensitive ass ears but here we are.

Greg's response involved him starting the video by saying he didn't watch her video, just read the title and the description of course

Haha. That is actually hilarious, because him claiming he doesn't watch whatever he is commenting on was directly addressed in Jaclyn's video. Never change Greg, never change.

Not that he's smart enough, but could he just go to the bank and say "I don't want this house. I'm not going to pay for it any more." and walk away? Because before any of the shit comes down, that would probably be a smart move. It would mess up his credit, but it would save him an awful lot of money.
From my understanding there are plenty of folks that have done this, but the bank still has to go through the foreclosure process to legally take back the deed. They may try to shortsell it, but that's rarer than some folks think and it has it's own set of rules and hoops to jump through. Onion is no smart enough to do that nor does he have the patience or fortitude. Plenty of folks just walked away when the housing market crashed in 2008. That's why you would see lots of foreclosure signs on lawns during that time. He could declare a Chapter 13 bankruptcy which provides an automatic stay, which is to say that his creditors would not be able to come after him...until they file a motion for relief from the automatic stay. It's a whole process that you get to know very well because it's the same bureaucratic bullshit every time. It's a grind, but it resolves eventually.

ETA: I wonder if he'd be stupid enough to file for a Chapter 11 which applies to businesses and try to claim the house as a business? I think he's that stupid. He tried that shit before with the IRS, but we all know this bitch learns NOTHING. Ironically, he may have a better claim in this situation than he did with his IRS debacle.

My point is, could he just disappear one day- walk away from the house- could he wipe his hands and leave the whole mess with the house? The bank isn't going to want to foreclose if the damages exceed the value of the house. If no one claims possession of the house, what would happen? Would the county sue Onion in a different state? Would they take possession of the house to cover the cost of restoring it?

The state could end up assuming ownership and fixing everything, then selling it to cover part of their losses, and pursue Gruggles for any deficiency remaining. So could the bank. This all makes the optimistic assumption that he has some sort of income that can be attached.

Another possibility is the HOA ultimately foreclosing on it and working out something with the state.

Remember the state doesn't actually want this property or to leave a smoking foreclosed on hole in the ground where Grug is. They'd rather this be fixed preferably on Grug's dime.

That just might not be in the cards, though, considering what an incompetent loser he is.

Oh, no, let me assure you, the bank wants its money. Even in the depths of the 2008 financial crisis, they came for their money and continued to do so at least until I got out of that line of work and that was around 2014. They foreclosed on 90 year old women for missing a couple of pennies on their mortgage payment, They would want the land at the very least. They would take possession, sell it at a slight discount to a flipper and that is that.

Pretty rich coming from the dipshit who accused Pewdiepie of being a pedophile based on a single years-old twitter joke and who made a pearl-clutching "documentary" on Shane's jokes.
And lest we forget Gurg becoming completely unhinged at the Blaire White drawing:

I guess jokes are only funny when Onion deems them to be, else they do require a focus group to "see who got hurt".
Shreg's hypocrisy is a marvelous thing to behold.
Yeahhhhhh... Gruck is all assblasted about this art of him getting dicked by Blaire but yet he’s the same hypocrite who put this gem out:

So, Gross, should people report the video you made of yourself fucking Andy Biersack in effigy???

That's the problem, though. They can't sell it without fixing the problems with it. The obligation to fix the shit Grug caused would run with the land, i.e. they couldn't sell it without first fixing it. That could cost more than any benefit they'd get by doing it.

Perhaps they need to 'think out of the box' on this one. Apparently this house is the neighborhood 'problem' anyway: it's a cheap ass 70s split level that was allowed to deteriorate until a flipper got ahold of it, ripped out any real wood from the interior and any mature landscaping from the yard and sold it to a failing internet 'personality'. Burn the fucker down, drop in a BBQ, replant and turn the place into a neighborhood park. All IMO, of course...

They still have to fix what Grug did, and what he did is to the land itself, not the house.

Gurg will be unable to contribute, the IRS gets first chomp. But , and this is just my pipe dream :), there are grants about to fund parks and certain restorations on public property. No one is ever going to be able to recoup the losses and I think they need to pursue Gurg for every penny. If he bails, it might be better to pursue different means of restoration. If the public winds up on the hook for this, they should own it.

On edit; I think Eugenia Cooney Park has a nice ring...

I think they only have a $25K down payment into it. If it costs $150K to fix and you still owe $450K, and all things being equal, all you could sell the house for after restoration is $300K... and you only have $25K into it so far, what would you do? I'd take the $25 as a loss, walk away and make it someone else's problem. The question is, if he went to live in another state or even Mexico, how much of the debt would be able to follow him? He must have some liquid cash stashed away somewhere. He could grab that and run- get one of those 100 year leases on a house in Ensenada or something for $50K. It would be another step down, but he could pretend he's retired.

Whoever's problem it is isn't going to like that, and is going to sue you if you ever have a dime again for the rest of your life. Especially because whoever ends up with it is responsible for fixing the environmental disaster, and Grug caused that. So they can sue him for that. If he has any chance of an income any time in the rest of his life they can just hold onto that and wait.

I'm not sure it's even dischargeable in bankruptcy.
