The Sisk story is quite known in the furry community and it even has a partial writeup in the sergal thread OP. It's a testament to the fact that if you have enough clout, connections, and can make excuses you can be "the one who got away" in the fandom as well, even if you can't escape the law.

Someone on Twitter is crying racism because the artist didnt get the likeness of their character 100% even though they didnt bring the issue up to the artist. They said it was "chimp-like".

The best course of action is to blast it on Twitter instead of solving it privately, obviously.

It's also worth noting that the artist themselves are Latino.

Communication is key between the commissioner and the artist. If there is something the commissioner doesn't like about the commission, it is their responsibility to reach out to the artist about their concerns. Artists can't read minds. If the commissioner thought the artist was going to be offended over that comparison, I would think that a private message would be a better solution to let them know rather than making it public on social media and have the artist find out that way. Most artists are very understanding and are willing to do a lot to make sure their customer is happy. Kudos to the artist for a good and professional response.

But then you don't get the callout culture attention. What ever should one do?

That's the damn problem. There was no reason for them to call out the artist when they wouldn't even take the time to speak them about the issues they had. It just seems like a shitty commissioner to me and I'm sure a lot of people will be blacklisting them for being such a douche. Seriously, it's the surefire way to get artists to hate you when you can't even have the decency to speak to the artist you're paying.

hey do any of you know a good archiving service beside

no he's alive, apparently his parents put him in a mental ward

For fuck sake could you lurk more before you post

Then show us your sources, newfag.

Well, now you know to blacklist LostBlueJay as a commissioner for being an ass. He looks human to me. People who see race issues when they aren't there are unknowingly being racist themselves. Calling a black dude a "chimp" just because he has more primitive features. Seriously. You gonna call people with large uni-brows Neanderthals next, LBJ?

Also, you don't deserve rights if you think it's okay to attempt to take away the rights of others by physically assault someone else for their opinions. People like this make the trans community look bad and are only attracting more negative attention to their plight.

It's just yet another case of customer being both picky and very specific about his needs and too shy/antisocial to actually talk to the artist. Many people just keep quiet because "it would bother the artist too much" and then talk shit either in private or on Twitter.

Its more just someone looking for sympathy points or attention. If they're able to publically post about it then why is it that difficult to privatly message the artist; they'll see both posts either way but one of them is a much more professional way to go about it. The artist even asked them if they were ok with everything, and they still decided to make a public twitter post about it instesd of straight up saying "could you change a few things?"

The only good thing about their actions is it exposes someone who should be blacklisted or avoided when it comes to art. No one wants to deal with someone with that kind of attitude.

If you want a way to piss off the woke furries on Twitter without trying, it's easy. Just draw a character wearing a Native American headdress. You'll mine salt in no time AND get people saying your country has never experienced hardship as a bonus.

Here's a twist though, this time the artist was Polish, meaning they finally got exposed to the anglosphere culture of being offended on the behalf of other races:

Want to avoid offending furries? Judging by what furries get offended over a good idea is to copy whatever crusty west-coast furries are into.

Here is a woke furry who slept through history class about WWII and the Nazis:

Furthermore some Native American furries saw the intent of the image wasn't to offend/mock their culture:

I'm disappointed in the lack of "trans rights are human rights" furry posts. Yesterday was Trans Day.
To be fair it's pretty predictable, it's going to be a million tweets like this and non-passing troon selfies:

The guy with an anime avatar and a Chinese name calling her pale face is awesome. I can't believe that's even a real person that exists.

Yes, I learned about the rich cultural heritage of the Plains Indians from John Wayne movies, why do you ask?

Cultural appropriation. Sonicfox isn't even trans and is wearing a shirt of THEIR culture.

Can't wait for a dumbass that believes a head dress art piece is offensive to go full retard and argue that

He was okay with publicly being a complete racist, though.

I despise people who yell "appropriation" at everything. We don't get to enjoy things from other cultures if we don't make them visible in some way and try to enjoy it ourselves but these people hate that other people in this world go out and try new things when they can't.
I'd be more than delighted to cook some traditional dishes of my culture for people who want to try it, and it's the same for many of all sorts of cultures. These people hate it with every ounce of their being that people get to enjoy other cultures.

Meanwhile they'll gladly sip on expensive latte's which the style originates from Italy and coffee itself originated from the ME, so you know, they totally know culture and history well.

Oh boy I was getting ready to rip out the bag of popcorn when he said Poland didn't know about persecution. That's an incredible level of ignorance right there. Edit: Chirasul has another Twitter handle, its inky_cap.
