New Zealand police have hit a roadblock in their attempts to preserve data from a website called Kiwi Farms, where several posts about alleged gunman Brenton Tarrant appeared as last week's attack in Christchurch unfolded.
They have asked the site to help with their investigation, but one of its administrators has reportedly refused and accused police of trying to censor the internet.
"You're a small, irrelevant island nation barely more recognisable than any other nameless Pacific sovereignty," administrator Joshua Moon replied to the police request, the New Zealand Herald reported.

I couldn't either. The first time I skimmed through without the audio. Then I perused with audio to see if a victim was plausibly saying "hello brother" at 6:36, which is being reported, and it turns out with substance. I'm holding on to the video to measure what happened because I don't need journos to tell me what to think like this Marnie person.

Though with those things said; it was more likely that this was a personal / domestic issue. He targetted one woman specifically according to witnesses. Then when people tried to help her he shot at them too. He was in court defending himself against rape charges just two weeks ago and has a history of convictions and suspicions of crimes, including robberies and shooting a gun on the streets.
Most likely it wasn't a terror attack, but if the online account is his, it might have helped enflame his anger, considering the angry words with the reposting of the rifle image.
In that video, after the accusation of showing her ass and being a slut, he accuses of her being "a democrat". She says: "You don't know whether I am" to which he replies: "Of course you are. What else are you? Sharia?"

If you watch the video, she was running from the mosque and other eyewitnesses corroborate. She was in her socks because Muslims usually take their shoes off to pray.

This quote from New Zealand's PM is about to prompt me to quit being anything resembling polite:
"He [the gunman] sought many things from his act of terror, but one of those was notoriety, and that is why you will never hear me mention his name," Ms Ardern said.
"He is a terrorist, he is a criminal, he is an extremist, but he will, when I speak, be nameless."
This is my response to that:
Prime Minister Ardern, you are a fucking ignorant bitch doing exactly what that asshole Tarrant wanted. You are his whore, sucking off his terrorist cock and doing exactly like he said people like you would do, and you are only making him forbidden fruit by unpersoning him.
You defeat terror by letting people denounce him, by showing the graphic majesty of his depravity to your own citizens so they can decry his evil after becoming so sickened with rage over what he did it becomes contemptible in the public eye. You defeat evil by removing any shadow it can hide in, not by providing it those very shadows.
I hope when you've defanged your country and have become the next victim because you stripped your own people of their ability to defend themselves you can die content knowing you were a bigger aider and abettor to Tarrant's message than what you think is suppressing it.
And when that day happens, I hope your last thoughts are regrets for the civil liberties you stripped from your own citizens and guilt for the stupidity and arrogance you have shown today.

Tarrant's world view is probably extremely similar to the kind of thinking the average people in the PRC have. The lense through which they view the world is not an enlightened western one. He paints the picture of two warring tribes, one of which is betrayed by its own government and on the verge of being destroyed by the other. Not hard to imagine they'd view that sympathetically, or that they'd lack the cultural context to understand not to take it 100% at face value.
I'm not gonna advocate violence because I don't want to be extradited to a faggot island nation with crap internet, but I just want to point out it's not fair that people like her are alive and a bunch of randoms got shot.

And if you have watched the video, the sound of gunfire would have been nearly constant during that entire time. There is no way it was not audible two blocks away.
