I have more. Get your brain bleach ready.

The part about them firing or "firing" him is more or less accurate unless there are facts I don't know. They aren't obligated to have a good reason or for that matter any reason for not retaining him in future. Their statements about why they did it are highly problematic, however, and I believe in context they are defamatory.

This would just get Funimation off the hook, though, for actually breaching a contract, if there was a contract to breach. Under the Texas standard for tortious interference, if that is applicable (and that is really up to Ty Beard to decide), tortious interference with prospective business relationship and with contract itself (if that is on the table) doesn't immunize conduct that encourages a contracting party to "breach" even if the contract allows termination by either side.

I.e. tortious interference can exist without an actual breach or wrongful act for which the breaching party (or potential business partner) could be themselves sued.

So even if it's ultimately decided Funi/Sony have no liability here or it's just not worth actually suing them, that doesn't mean anyone else is off the hook.

I'm distinguishing between tortious interference with contract and with prospective business relationship here, but while what is interfered with differs in the causes of action, what is prohibited in interfering with it is rather similar and, in Texas, very expansive.

Oh, they are exactly correct according to every HR and management lecture I've endured. It's just that no one, ever, has suggested this lawsuit is over wrongful termination, because unless you're a protected class you aren't going to win that in Texas.

When the lolcow starts trying to “troll” or “meme”, they’re actually incredibly pissed. Happens with the lolcow I follow the most all the time.

It's especially true when they are using memes they don't understand and that are literally directly mocking their insane behavior.

Hey, there's a one in a million situation. Pull has someone with a sense of humor.

He's going off again.

"How dare you take the dignity of my friend and make him into a mascot for your race crusade?"
"To turn someone into a colour over and over again to satisfy a political purpose?"

Oh fuck, they set Nick off. Can't blame him. Tired of these morons reducing people to their race, gender or whatever for woke points. You're not being progressive, you're being actual racists/bigots when you do that shit.

I cant blame Nick for losing it right there. I'd be pissed too if people were exploiting my friends like that reducing them into a token for them to throw around in a messed up pog game.

I wouldn't expect those people, who continuously try to prove they're a good person by virtue-signalling on behalf of minorities to be actual good people.
