VAs wear a lot of "hats". Take Jamie Marchi. She has lots of acting roles, but also does writing and ADR directing, probably more than some of the new actors have actually acted. I'm pretty sure the ADR director is also in charge of casting in addition to the actual directing.

Not sure if they do producer roles (I know at least Vic has), and what exactly the producer does.

I knew it was likely, just didn't know we had a soft confirmation on it. I actually mildly enjoyed some of Rooster Teeth's shows, so I'm familiar with the sharing of hats. It's very common in start-ups in the first place and the entertainment industry just increases the occurrence of it.

Why are they all so obsessed with lawyers drinking? Go to any pub near a courthouse on a Friday night and they'll not only be drinking, half of them will be shit-faced.

I think it's a generational gap thing. A lot of the millennials I know from college, at least those that haven't interacted with older professionals, have some odd beliefs about what is and is not professional in and out of the workplace.
