Very fast. Between the Rackets livestreams and here, it took me a solid couple of hours of my weekend to catch up on everything that’s been going on. A shame I missed TUG’s stream with YF, or maybe that was for the best.

I feel bad in a sense that until very very recently, most people wouldn't consider legal action against the internet rumor mill, conventional wisdom being that it was too hard to find and serve the perpetrators of slander, and even if you could, it was hard to prove malicious intent or actual damage from "Random internet post #484,400"
But, post-Covington, it seems everyone has realized that the only way to get the outrage machine to stop is drag them into court and say "Prove it or pay up" and are at the ends of their live-and-let-live leashes as actual jobs and academic standings are being put at real, measurable risk nowadays when someone calls you a racist online. Also, the perpetrators are so self-righteous now, they put their real names to posts as they go spreading lies because in their twisted world, it's okay when THEY do it. So what if we lied with the expressed desire to see said lie cost a person we dont' like their job? They DESERVE it!
A lot of the outrage mavens, having been taught there isn't any consequence for lying on the internet, and that the ends justify the means and that they're protected by the progressive stack/right side of history, are walking into a fuckin' guillotine that everyone but they can see. Even as we try to warn them....

Oh my that Paralegal is hilarious. And you have to wonder, hasshe ever watched a Cable news channel? They tend to be Wall to Wall Lawyers talking about who will sue who etc. CourtTV? If Gloria Allred hasn’t been disbarred I’m fairly certain Nick is at no risk from running a law discussion channel on YouTube.
