First, to be truthful, there's only 2 military branches. The Army and the Navy.
The Air Force is a corporation and the USMC is a cult.
Second: The military is primarily made up of the biggest ass fucking morons in the known universe. All of them. Even you. Even him.
Because you're in Basic or your first duty station like 30 seconds before you realize that the recruiter is probably still laughing at you.
And shit, I'd be surprised if the infantry could read the ballot, I'm not sure the USMC could return ballots done in crayon, someone would remind the Air Force that they should have voted yesterday instead of polishing pilot cock, and the Navy would have spent the entire election standing outside the wrong polling place screaming that they still mattered.
