One complaint that I have about that comic (kind of a nitpicky thing) is that while a lot of this picture has a sort of texture, that girl doesn't seem to have any of that texture. It makes her stand out in a way that doesn't really work. Also this could be an exaggeration but-

This character's design is so bland! Persistent Pam was her name I think? She's the personification of the fans who actually push him to do better and branch out, but to him are just "annoying" and got made into a terrible strawman. A lot of his characters are really bland, actually. Even the mohawked woman-who-looks-like-a-guy is uninteresting.

Either Dobsy thought he was being unique by doing so, or he was incredibly lazy/didn't give a rat's ass. And considering his "talent", I'm going to say it's the latter.
I think Dobsy's the only one who isn't bland, yet still manages to be an uninteresting strawman.

It bothers me how lazy her design is. One line each for the eyes and hair the same color black as the lineart. Because anything more would take effort and Dobson can't have that!
