Actually there is this one thing:
there's a story on (I think) nosleep that I quite remember enjoying. It was about a girl who couldn't see this one other girl that everyone else could. Like all her friends talked about and interacted with this new girl, but the protagonist couldn't, so she thought it was a prank but it ended up going on for years. It ends with the invisible girl dying, but when her grave is dug up there's nothing there.
I think it was by a popular author but I can't remember the name for the life of me and reddit search is shit.

Does it have to be something that'd lead to a career? In my experience, mixing your hobbies with your profession tends to work for very few people.

Not really. Just something to get me out in the world, doesn't have to be a career.

I'm just tired of feeling like I'm cooped up in this kind of crappy life I've built for myself.

What are your interests? Have you ever done anything with tabletop RPGs? I find that they're a great social activity that give an opportunity to relax and separate yourself from the mundane once a week. Plus, some pretty great friendships tend to blossom from it.

That In Living Color skit that's a parody of that En Vogue "What A Man" video where the singer is single and desperately trying to get a man. (I think it was from En Vogue, if not it was a song from that time.) They say they'd even sleep with a homeless person and then suddenly there's dancing hobos. I think it took place in a post office. I'm pretty sure that video disappeared from Youtube. If it's not In Living Color it may have been Mad TV. But it was from the 1990's.

Thanks but I have tried importing from the US before via friend and its an absolute bitch. Honestly I got a few good recipes for the smoker that look to be the real deal so I will just be patient until I can make them without the hassle
