He's writing it like how you'd order it to the food replicator on Star Trek. It doesn't work out of context, especially to people who have never seen Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Yup. Never got into that show, I only know a couple of characters from it. Thanks for the answer.

Man, remember how he said he was tired of all the GamerGate talk and he was done talking about it?

His best joke yet.

That's what I was about to comment on. I thought he was terrified of being on another ED-like wiki and having more "haters" after him.

Guess his supposed Internet "safety" doesn't mean jack to him if it isn't getting him that beloved attention.

"The SJW Bear"?

Well, at least Dobson somehow admitted to doing something that's really stupid, even though he never accepts what his problems are.

If Dobson dislikes the DA community sooooo much, then why hasn't he left yet? He could've easily started his own website where he doesn't have to deal with comments. In fact, if DA ever implemented his "well-requested" ability to disable profile comments, I doubt he would do it. THEN where would he get his attention from?

And Dobson on Patreon? Oh Lord. People sign up for that website expecting that people will drop money for them just because they exist and can pick up a pencil. Not only is it extremely difficult for people to get enough sponsors on there that the income would be even remotely helpful (but I have no doubt that people will drop bucks for Dobson), but most people who ARE successful on there are repeated and dedicated content producers. Weekly updating a comic strip, or releasing illustrations or videos, etc., in a timely manner. And they're doing that WHILE having day jobs and/or school (which is usually why they get Patreons in the first place, to alleviate the cost of living and producing). Dobson can't even produce one of his one-hour lazy comics in a remotely timely and regular fashion. Any free time he has is always dedicated to frothing on Twitter or DA about GamerGate instead of drawing, and a comic comes up maybe once in a blue moon when he puts down the keyboard. No one is going to want to pay him money to see MAYBE a spotty comic or illustration every three weeks to a month. And any draw he has to pull in an audience (like, maybe a wonderful storyline or interesting characters) is grossly nonexistent, since no one is going to want read more whingy GG comics, and Alex ze Pirate and Formera are so far gone they're fossilized. No one would pay for haphazard, shoddy, unlikeable work.

Anyway, I bet he'll blame his Patreon failures on "DA HATERZ!!!1" because no fault is ever his own. :(

I think Dobson has a lot of things handed to him.

The way he probably lived his family gave him a lot. I guess he just went to art school with no struggle. He probably coasted through art school. I mean, I hope I can get somewhere with my art someday, but he went to a great art school and built some sort of fanbase.

My art teacher told this to me: "You never stop learning when it comes to art." Dobson stopped learning or learns when he is forced to. I don't think a Patreon will help his stagnation, his lack of drive, and ability to listen to critique.

Those must have been shitty parents then. If that's the case, I'm not surprised Dobson turned out the way he did. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if his parents never cracked down on him when he was a child, more so if they were the ones who influenced his behavior in the first place.

Looking at the image, I can't help but wonder: Wouldn't being tied up be a sort of fetish? If so, would Dobson even acknowledge that? Even then, I think the only people that complain about would be parents due to the ad looking sexual in their eyes.
Guess Occam's Razor isn't in the man's mental bathroom...
