How many times can that actually work though? Yes I know Twitch/Amazon is a multi-billion dollar corporation but i'm sure they don't want to start having to foot the bill for every person who cheers/subs a shitload of money and then cries theft for a chargeback, especially if it's clear it's gonna keep happening. Say this theory is correct and this moron's plan works - what's gonna stop other autistic morons from throwing thousands at Phil, getting a chargeback, and then forcing Twitch to pay Phil out of their own pocket? Wouldn't at SOME point Twitch just ban Phil because he's losing them more money than he's bringing in?
I don't think it will work. I think this idiot will lose their money and be screwed if this is what is happening. I could just see someone willing to donate money to Dark as a true fan being this stupid.

Has anybody gave any thought about the Seattle based business Emerald Seven who seems to work on some social media and branding. Is it possible that this this is part of a rebranding process?
At this point how would Phil rebrand him self?

Watch "Full Adult Philip" the real gamer who is chill and 100% not a shill. Now accepting donations. New with less public masturbation.

Ask our clients:
Mr_poopypants420 says "Phil is a real hardcore gamer. I enjoy his playthroughs of Spyro the Dragon and Minecraft. I also love when he plays competitive fighting games on single player. Online play is a fad."

I have a theory (Theo-REE) that I've been thinking about, probably spending too much time on it.

All these subs boost Phil up to a somewhat popular status leaving him more vulnerable for Twitch to monitor everything he says instead of his meat and potatoes stream he runs now. Now, whenever Phil goes on a rant about Ninja or bullies someone in his chat during a pre-stream he is being watched extra close by new viewers or Twitch themselves. Leading to even more people spamming Twitch with nonsense every day. Probably nothing will come of it.

(Also here's a tip If you want to troll DSP monetarily and you're dead-set on spending thousands of dollars) Why don't you send a bunch of subs to Kekon or someone like that? Kekon is obviously the better streamer but seeing that sweet four digit number next to Current Subs would make DSP start his pre-streams dripping with jealousy that one of his mods is pulling that many subs while "congratulating" him

Is there any proof that he does. Even if we go by Phil's own words, I don't think he's ever mentioned anything regarding sub chargebacks.
I'm going by Dave's word on this one. I know you should take it with a load of salt, but it is stated clearly in the Twitch TOS that subs aren't refundable and Dave claimed that he got every cent from the Tut-subs.
I doubt he would've stayed so calm if he didn't get the money from the subs.

But they don't boost him because they aren't real subs. He still only has a few hundred viewers, and while 1k subs is by no means bad, especially given his pathetic view count, it's not enough for Twitch to pay particularly close attention to. I believe you're listed higher based on your view count, it's just that normally having a high view count also translates into having a high sub count. Spending thousands of dollars just for the hope that a Twitch mod wanders into his channel and gives DSP yet another slap on the wrist is also just a really, really bad trolling plan.

It is mentioned in the TOS, but I think the biggest evidence is the fact Phil doesn't complain about it. Phil is not known for being subtle. If he genuinely lost all the money Tut supposedly charged back, he would have bitched about it nonstop. Just look at how he complains about how detractors took away all his YouTube money. Phil has a stupid sense of pride, but when it comes to begging, he'll always find any possible way to make himself look like a victim, and legitimately losing Tut's money would certainly fall under that. I also think if it was an actual Twitch loophole, we'd have heard about it from other trolls messing with streamers in the exact same way. A lot of streamers have actual sub goals where they do 24 hour streams or play notoriously bad games or whatever, so there'd be plenty of motivation to abuse the system to make someone hit those goals, then initiate a charge back. Keep in mind it isn't just on Twitch's side either. If credit card scams were just as easy as calling up the credit card company and telling them a charge is fraudulent. If it was, actual scammers wouldn't put so much effort into stealing credit card information.

Everything I saw about the tut situation was regarding tip chargebacks. Sure twitch says subs aren't refundable but if legit fraud were to occur and a credit card company reverses the charge twitch loses that money. Whether they eat the streamer's half is the question and the affiliate agreement implies that they won't.

Actually when it come to unauthorized transactions it is as easy as calling the credit card company and telling them you didnt make the purchase. Unless a person has a history of filing chargebacks or it can be proven that they in fact made the purchase they'll likely get away with it too even if no fraud actually took place.

Like I said, the only thing to go by in this case is Phil's word.
(As Twitch sure as hell won't spill the beans)

Tut gifted a bunch of Subs during September which means Phil would get the money for them by mid-November (probably earlier).

On the end of October Phil claimed that he got all the money which Tut tried to chargeback including the 1.2k in Tips. (So we can assume he is talking about Subs as well as Bits and Tips)

If Phil would've lost 2k in Subs during November, he would've definitely mention it to m.ilk his paypigs. Since he kept silent, it is safe to assume, that he indeed got all the money Tut threw at him.

Última edición:
i'd be less suspicious if it was a long time fan doing this, but its just some random that phil even messed their name up. and him showing up at phils most dire hour? ya right.

this whole situation reeks to high fkin heaven

No idea how this will turn out, but I set my clock for "Emerald Green, or what his name, fucked me over big times" as soon as E7 makes a troll resembling sound.

If it happens enough then they absolutely will take some sort of action. If it's some sort of autistic ops then I suspect that's the intention. They might not ban him but at the end of the day Twitch is a business, if you're losing them money they're going to cut ties. I could easily see them revoking his partnership for something like that. With a file as thick as Phils is I suspect it wouldn't take long for them to do it either.

One could argue that Phil has kept quiet about the tut money because he DIDN'T win the dispute and is trying to save face by not mentioning it. He did seem to make a huge deal out of it for some odd reason. Fuck man, his proof he won it was some generic bullshit with no timestamp.

I've thought about this and I think we should consider the fact that this is indeed a legit fan of Dsp and he's willingly donating a crapton of money to Phil. I think he contacted Phil behind the scenes about it as well, and I think Phil knew this was going to happen. I mean, DSP may have the habit to constantly lie about everything but he still is hardly an actor, and he didn't seem to be the least surprised to get so many subs. The day emerald seven magically appeared, Phil said on stream that he had "a feeling" that they were gonna hit the sub goal that day, and less than 30 minutes later emerald seven appeared. It's hard to imagine that someone is stupid enough to donate this much money to a piece of crap streamer, but I think it might be the case this time.

Everything is fine, ladies and gentlemen. Dave's final downfall will not be prevented with the appearance of elephant_seven. It's merely delayed. This fucker has a new life threatening emergency every few months. His methods ("Gimme money!") just have to not work ONCE. This won't bring him down, but the following spiral could be quite tasty. Like, very heavy on sodium.

Until then, egh, this general_seven guy is boring as fuck.

I agree, its either a real fan or tut. I'm 50/50 on it. Someone did cheer and ask phil if emerald_seven was one of the people who emailed him behind the scenes and he flat out said no but ofc phil is a liar. although phil would know emerald would know he was lying so why take that risk?

now i gotta go back and watch the pre-stream because if phil said he had a feeling they were going to hit the goal in the way you describe then yeah he knew about it. we can always trust in his big mouth

The reason why subs instead of tips is simple: they don't want DSP to know who they are.

right i get that part but what i meant is you have 2 ways of giving a streamer money via twitch: bits and subs. I am fairly certain bits is the muchg cheaper way of doing it. As in, to give a $1000 in bits to a streamer costs like $1200. To give a streamer $1000 in subs costs $2000 with tier 1. This guy gave him tier 1 mostly first before switching to tier 3. even tier 3 i think costs more to pay the streamer than bits.
