If it's such a sore spot, you might wanna see yourself to the door.
Honestly, Strat, I won’t.
I enjoy the lols too much, but also, to be perfectly blunt, it’s nice to find a place where people still don’t drink the furry Kool-Aid. The farms are generally people who are pretty up front and to the point and call things as they are, for the most part, and it’s good to see people who don’t just regurgitate what the press is on now about how “furry is so cool, and just completely misunderstood“.
Personally, I didn’t have too much trouble ‘misunderstanding’ what the zoosadists or the furrypedophiles were about. But apparently, a place like the farms is one of the few places were people still call them on their bullshit and will still say so.
Well, most of the time, anyways.
I think you're conflating someone saying "I'm gay" with "I'm forcing you to have gay sex with me", if I'm being honest with you. Not once did I imply this.
I'm sorry that these people hurt you. Being totally genuine.
But you shouldn't be using KF for therapy.
You need to understand that at least half the posters in Animal Control are furries. Most of them also hate furries. What SonicFox is representing is pretty far from being any sort of "normalized"—the majority of people who are aware of furries know they're to be avoided, and SonicFox made an example of this.
What people want and are (very loosely) taking away from this is a general message of self-acceptance. People are applauding him for being himself in a sea of "normies" despite the expectation that he suppress his degeneracy and accept his award with grace. As stupid as it sounds, for a lot of minorities, this is important. It's why his "I'm gay" spam is so popular.
People are also laughing at him. Which is also important.
Whether you like it or not, the culture wars are moving in this direction because there is so much resistance. These displays are a consequence of feelings similar to yours: that all gays are degenerates who want to fuck your ass. Though that isn't reality, that's how you're presenting... because some sperg had an episode on stage at an awards show no one cares about.
Manage your personal demons, or the laughter in your direction is only going to get louder and louder. I really, really hope you're able to reign them in for your own sake.
Oh dear. Miffed just pities me now.
So, this is like, way too long didn’t read and also, I cannot believe you’re actually playing the card of offering psychological advice to someone who is little more than a ghost on a screen, on the farms. First of all my guess is that you have absolutely no background and training to and second of all as you accuse me of misreading your posts, your misreading mine. I’m not on the bridge getting ready to jump. I’m just a little frustrated and it doesn’t come out very well and text-only. If we were having a conversation face-to-face it would be much more clear and reasonable.
Here is my short, please read version: Furrys are disgusting, awful people who do disgusting, awful things and then get defended by other furries. Just check the zoosadists thread. Unironically identifying as a furry, to me anyways, it unironically identifying with people who do disgusting awful things.
Oh, I forgot to mention: I am not even “literally shaking“. Sorry to disappoint everybody.
If furries are your sore spot then you probably should stay out of Animal Control since it's furry ground-zero. The subjects and posters alike can be assumed to be majority furry. And I feel what you say- I see a lot of horrible furries all the time. They're hard to avoid since they're a good chunk of the community. I've seen artists I like quit because they keep getting harassed by these types who would not take no for an answer and refused to have any other way but there own. It's disgusting.
Now personally, I know a lot of good ones who work hard and have good goals in life. Online, they keep quiet since they're not all that invested, but that's the crux of it; they're invisible compared to the highly visible "normal" of the furry community. I wish they were the majority. Just good people who do this shit for kicks, not make it a "lifestyle".
Not much you can do about any of it these days but nuke the entire community. That's how I see it.
I marked agree on yours because honestly I think you’re right - and you didn’t offer me useless psychological advice. Thank you for not doing that.
I think the only place where I can’t agree here is, I’ve never met a good furry.
