✨ Celebrity Tara Strong / Tara Lynn Charendoff - Narcissistic “Queen of the Bronies” who suffers from GOTIS and Trump Derangement Syndrome; got an Uber Driver fired for disagreeing with her on politics

And she really shouldn't be ranting about it because she herself is an immigrant from the great white north. That shit shouldn't even affect people from there.

Claims to be a "lover of equal rights" and "immigration" then goes around and fucks over an immigrant in every way possible for daring to question her, doing exactly what she claims to hate "Blonald Drumpf" for.

The only good immigrants to her are her indentured servants and maids that she appropriated her shit south american accent from for things like Peace Walker.

After Arleen Sorkin retired from the role I hoped that they'd get someone similar who pulled off the accent without sounding too squeaky and obnoxious. But in came Tara shrieking through her lines with no subtlety at all.
Let's be honest here, Arleen was the only truly good voice. Not Tara, not the Big Bang Theory girls. In fact, about the only one I can really tolerate is Hynden Walch. But even in comparison she's pretty weak.

The fact they keep hiring Tara means that either someone at DC likes her or something else is going on behind the scenes.

Arleen cemented the side of Harley that was so appealing and lovable to fans. She had great comedic timing and there was a realness and hidden sweet side to her performance. I think anyone would sound jarring and awful following her. But Tara is exceptionally awful doing the Harley voice. There's very little in the way of range or emotion and it seems like she's playing pretend and looking for a quick paycheck than actually performing the role. It just feels really insincere.

Hynden is okay. She at least sounds like she's having fun.

That is mostly true. I think part of what made Arleen so great in the role was that it was written and created for her, so she was really just being herself and it felt very natural. Most other takes sound like they really lay the accent on thick and it sounds, for lack of a better word, cartoony.

Although I will say, and I might get some hate for this, but the preview with Kaley Cuoco as the voice wasn't that bad. I found her funny and energetic, and didn't put on a phony accent for it. She just sounded fun. I don't know if that means the show will be any good, but for that few minutes, I kind of liked her take on Harley.

The thing about someone like Tara Strong is she isn't like Mel Blanc where you're hiring a Man of a Thousand Voices.

Someone somewhere said "get Tara Strong" and cheaper places say "get someone that sounds like Tara Strong" and they expect that voice.

At least said character was an American Cipher agent posing as a Costa Rican student. Of course she'd suck at it.

I mean it's a web comic, the standards are already low. But for a guy who bashes webcomics like Dominic Deegan and MegaTokyo for being shit (and they are, this changes nothing), the fact his own art is not much better is pretty hypocritical.
You are telling me a member from AnimeOutsiders is a hypocrite?
Who would have thought of such shocking concept
