Florida teen accused of killing his mother and burying her body at a nearby church bragged about being a “raging conservative” and visiting Trump Tower on his Facebook profile.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reported that 15-year-old Gregory Ramos is being tried as an adult over charges that he killed his mother Gail Cleavenger on November 2 and tampered with her body after the fact while burying her.
Prosecutors accused Ramos of enlisting two friends, 17-year-olds Dylan Ceglarek and Brian Porras, “help him stage a burglary at his home in an attempt to cover up the crime” after driving his mother’s body to a nearby church. The other teens are also being tried as adults in their accessory after the fact charges.
BuzzFeed’s Joe Bernstein noted on Twitter Friday afternoon that on Ramos’ Facebook profile, he described himself as a “raging conservative with a passion for debate.” The boy’s cover photo on the profile is a flag for “Kekistan,” a made-up country associated with Pepe the Frog, a meme image co-opted by the alt-right online.

A perusal of the profile, which was still online when Raw Story searched for it Friday afternoon, revealed that Ramos claimed to have visited Trump Tower in what appeared to be a red “Make America Great Again” hat.
The boy allegedly killed his mother after getting in an argument about getting a bad grade.

A 15-year-old 'sociopath' who spent half an hour throttling his mother to death with his bare hands as she fought for her life after a row over bad grades appeared in court on Sunday where he was denied bail and remanded in custody.
Gregory Logan Ramos is accused of murdering his mother Gail Cleavenger, 46, in her own bed at their family home in Florida shortly after midnight on Friday last week.
He then enlisted two of his friends to help him stage a burglary in his home and called 911 to report his mother missing.
Gregory was arrested after confessing to killing his mother it during police questioning.
Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood described the schoolboy as 'soulless', said he showed no remorse, and is 'among the top three sociopaths I have ever encountered'.
In his police confession, Ramos told how he had argued with his mother on Thursday evening after getting a D grade at school.
Prosecutors are now weighing up whether or not to charge Ramos as an adult.

On Sunday, he was ordered to a juvenile detention facility for the next 21 days. His two friends were allowed to return home where they will be monitored by ankle bracelets.
Last Friday, the teenager's mother gave him a row for the D grade and then called his father, who was on a business trip, to tell him about it.
She went to bed afterwards at 11pm.
Ramos waited for 90 minutes then crept into her bedroom and tried to strangle her at 12.30am.
She woke up and fought him, scratching his face and trying to throw him off.
Eventually, he overpowered her. She died at 1am.

Chitwood told the Daytona Beach News-Journal that the boys chose the pit because the soil was loose and could be easily dug up.
After burying the body eight inches deep, Ramos returned home and went to school, but left early in order to establish his alibi.
Arriving home, Ramos placed what he called a 'Grammy-winning' 911 call to report the burglary, using classes he took in criminal justice at University High to try and give a flavor of truth to his lies.
He also reported his mother missing and said there was a van with the engine running sitting in his driveway.

After several hours of intense interviews, Ramos 'broke' and confessed to everything.
But rather than expressing guilt or remorse, Chitwood said he seemed proud.
'He had no sign of remorse. He is a soulless individual,' Chitwood said.
'He was very proud of his work and he wanted to show it off. To watch how cold and callous he was when talking about it was the most shocking thing to me.'
Chitwood said that Ramos tried to justify his actions as 'preemptive self-defense', and was convinced that 'he had to kill [Gail] before she killed him'.
He added that there was no evidence of this, and no evidence that Gail had been abusive toward him.
Cleavenger returned home Friday night to discover his wife was missing, before Ramos confessed to killing her early on Saturday.

Ramos confessed to using a wheelbarrow to move Gail's body into the family van and then drove to River City Church 1.5 miles away where he buried her in a fire pit.
At first he drove to Daytona's Holly Hill area to dump her corpse but headed back to find a shovel before heading to the church.
Architect Gail had been reported as absent from work on the morning she died
Meanwhile his friends staged the break-in before convening in a nearby Circle K to get their back-stories straight.
Ramos helped cook up the story using his training as a part of Orange City Police Explorers.
Chitwood said he had hoped to become a homicide detective in future.
After taking down Ramos's confession on Saturday, authorities went to the fire pit and exhumed Gail's body.
Chitwood added that this was 'one of the most disturbing and saddest I've seen in my career'. 'I have a feeling this is a case we'll be hearing about for years to come.
'All our hearts break for this family,' he added on Twitter.
