Considering how quick those cockbiscuits are willing to cannibalize each other over the smallest of thing (whether they're legitimate points or not), I think it's entirely possible. Just like every other group of people you have sub-groups and sub-groups of sub-groups. It comes as no surprise that they would fight over which group of people is more privileged/under-privileged (i.e. "Trans-nigger, bisexual, genderfluid, whale-kin are the most discriminated against!!" "What!? one of my headmates is a pansexual, former-life-indian princess, polyamorous, plankton-kin!11!! CHECK YOUR FUCKING PRIVILEGE YOU PREDATORY TRUSCUM PATRIARCHAL OPPRESSOR!!!). They also hate, and I mean hate it when somebody, and it doesn't matter who, so much as even suggests the anyone who isn't a straight, white, male is capable of committing evil.
I'd normally be quick to agree, but for the sake of argument - and fairness - let's hear them out. I agree
very strongly with Smoked Sausage.
And here, I'll explain why:
Bear in mind, a lot of the so-called SJWs are relatively young people. Often in their teens, just establishing an identity for themselves, wanting to be good people, and winding up in a weird place not through malice, but through act of simply not knowing any better. We know this from
the rather touching tale of the guy who got doxxed by one, managed to find his doxxer, discovered she was a 16-year-old girl just trying to be a decent activist, and subsequently causing her to realize that the person she had just inadvertently doxxed was, in fact, a person. A
lot of people who embrace the likes of the so-called SJWs enter with good and even great intentions.
This mindset can get installed very surreptitiously and it takes actual introspection - or a personal awakening - to get out of it. I know from my own scuffles on DailyKos that whilst many of the so-called SJWs are miserable fiends who blindly obey what they're told, others can be reasoned with, and can even be willing to talk like adults when engaged in a less-confrontational standpoint. You have to understand that whilst a lot of them are big on the "our way or fuck off" mentality, a lot of them also realize that this isn't how life actually works, and when taken away from the group and talked to like people, they become dozens of times more reasonable.
It's very important to remember that Tumblr and Twitter culture encourage the dogpile. This is why it's pretty much a standard-issue attack vector for many of them, and why the likes of say,
Vade's cronies were quick to fuck off when directly confronted in an environment where everyone wouldn't immediately hop on-board with their victimhood and attack their intended target. When removed from such a location, where they don't feel they need to worry about being dogpiled, nor the need to dogpile themselves, that they open up somewhat.
Not all of them are extremists. Not all of them are crazy otherkin or cultural marxists. Several, even many of them
are, but
not the majority.
I will bet cash money right now that at least 50% of the so-called SJW community would be completely against what Anita Sarkeesian posts if they thought for a nanosecond they could criticize her without the herd chewing on them
like a pack of angry fish.
A lot of them mean well, even if they're ultimately being used.
And that last part, I feel, is the most important part:
They're starting to realize that they're being used. And they aren't pleased. Whilst a lot of them cheerfully act as attack vectors for team Mojo Jojo, a lot of them do possess critical thinking skills and are some pretty damned sharp people. We figured out ages ago that the bulk of team Mojo Jojo were professional con-artists and charlatans, but in the so-called SJW community, this is a dark side that many of them never wanted to face.
Many of them believe strongly in social justice - the actual kind, not the kind that we resoundingly mock here on the Kiwi Farms - and were simply dragged along for the ride by the extremists and ideologues that are trying to profit. If they're willing to open up dialogue, welcome them, without hostility. Discourse as a whole is the very antithesis of what the likes of the corrupt Journos and team Mojo Jojo want, because if their own camp turns against them, there will be hell to pay.
