A theory I have is, well. There's the possibility that KOP was bought off, but....we know he has a girlfriend now, Cindianimations. That happened very recently. She could be another Mallory Blair. We ALSO know that, based on his past behavior, that KOP was VERY desperate for a lover. Hmm......

I don't know much about it but is it possible he was just a fucking nutjob who saw conspiracy theories where no one else did so he thought to fabricate his own evidence to support his own paranoia? The biggest problem with GG is that everyone is looking for things to connect in some elaborate way. There are so many theories floating around that have no solid backing and they're being presented as fact. That shit is damaging as hell because next thing you know other people come in, see it, and think "Holy shit, is this legit? What other dots can I connect to this?". It seems like people are playing spy games to keep themselves busy while waiting to hear about Gawker losing another advertiser. That stuff will hurt GG in the long run because people will assume it's full of conspiracy nuts and rightly so.

The internet does loves a conspiracy theory. But like I said before, if it isn't backed up by evidence it's speculation at best and a lie at worst.

That's kind of how I imagine it going. From what I've been reading he hasn't been sleeping well, has people around him encouraging the behavior, and has become increasingly paranoid because of the threats and doxxings. All of that combined kind of makes a cocktail of crazy, and it's no wonder everything fit together JFK assassination style.

The problem was he had gained the trust of Hotwheels, which gave him a much broader area of influence.

Well let's look at some facts. KOP recently started this big drama in GG. He left, and in his "I'm leaving GG" post, he said that most of the GG members are bad. Then, he starts this big infighting drama with with his accusations towards MundaneMatt and a bunch of others. Then, we find out that he LIED about the Denton facebook posts.

Kingofpol.............is a shill.
This is just like the "Is Jace a ruseman" argument in that it doesn't matter. If he's a shill and it was meant to create a witch hunt, then it is what it is. If it wasn't, it still has the same effect. Whether it's "real" or not, or whether or not KoP was paid to "leak" it doesn't change anything.

Resuming our "Anti-GGers Saying Stupid Fucktardery" part of the daily vernacular, Adam Sessler decided to emerge from his cave to shriek incoherently and remind everyone why he never should have had a career in the first place:

It actually gets funnier as Tara Long shows up and the two remind us all why they're are no longer employed.
These tweets are all from last year. Or is there something that I'm missing here? Either way, Sessler has been such a laughing stock since he got coked up at that one e3 it's always funny to look back on his more choice quotes.

I just fucking noticed this.

A moment, smacking the guy who linked me it: In the meantime, have Tara Long being stupid from last month.

EDIT: All right, back now. Relevance established.

Apparently, Revision3, Sessler's television network, went down today. This was only tangentially related to Gamergate, but it's satisfying to see a tool like Sessler get owned, so there's that. In conclusion, I apparently need to check timestamps better.

I wonder if we'll get to see an apartment taken over by lab monkeys infected with Feminazi-E. coli.

I always did like Morgan better on X-Play, she at least talked about the game when she did reviews.

Revision3 has been bleeding out for months. They made a big hullaballo about betting Adam Sessler on board, and he left after about fice or six months on the job. The reasoning behind it wasn't fully disclosed, but it mostly seemed to boil down to the fact that Sessler couldn't handle being an internet talking head. He was used to the division being on TV gave a person (apparently Sessler was amazed by how vitrolic YouTube comments could be... which kind of really says how much he understands how the Internet works...).

It wasn't much long afterwards their other prevalent personalities jumped ship, including Max Scoville (now at Destructoid), Anthony Carboni (I think either Destructoid... although I swear I think I saw him in a video on Cracked not too long ago), and Scott Bromley (which as far as I know just kind of floats around and tries to tag along with Scoville as much as possible).

Anyway, after the major exodus, their shows, which were once actually fairly interesting, became essentially Tara Long, Nick Robinson (who I swear was just the camera guy), and the main boss at Rev3Games (can't be bothered to look him up- he just seemed like a douche) would sit around, drink coffee and talk about vidya with a rotating cast of interns. Really, it was pretty damn painful... and I'm surprised it took this long for Discovery (the people that own Rev3Games) to shutter their ass.

Scoville and Bromley are co-hosts of The Comedy Button now, along with Brian Altano of IGN, Anthony Gallegos, and Ryan Scott (whom appeared in GameJournoPros). Adam Sessler is also an infrequent guest on the show.

They have not mentioned or discussed GamerGate, have no intentions to, and the topic is banned from their community pages.

:story:

So interesting thing to note here. Wolfire games have been spending years making a furry fighting game named Overgrowth. It looks moderately cool, though no matter what developer vid I tune in to it all seems like a tech demo that gets prettier without actually getting anywhere.

Wolfire also run the Humble Bundle. And the Humble Bundle also employed Zoe Quinn, who is friends with this dude.

Obviously TotalBiscuit, the guy who blew the whistle on Shadow of Mordor Youtube Branded Reviews mini-scandal, is THE MOST unethical journalist on the internet.

This is the same TotalBiscuit that Little Hitler tried smearing over the scandal saying Nathan Grayson broke the scope.

TotalBiscuits Proof

And just to make sure everything comes around full circle...

This is the same Little Hitler desperately trying to get validation and hummers from Zoe Quinn, who's friends with Wolfire games, who thinks TotalBiscuit is unethical.
